Expecting or know someone who is?

For a limited time, Amazon Prime members who create an Amazon baby registry and have over $10 of purchases from their registry not including taxes, gift cards or shipping (from either themselves and/or gifters) are eligible to receive a FREE Welcome Box containing a selection of products for both baby and parents.

Add everyday items to your baby registry list and then stock up on baby wipes, diapers, pacifiers, baby shampoo etc. from your list to reach the $10 threshold. Be sure and check out our baby deals to get ideas!

Once your $10 in purchases are shipped and you are eligible to claim your Welcome Box, you will see an area to “Check Status” at the top of your Amazon Baby Registry – if the box is in-stock, just click the “Claim Now” button to automatically add the Welcome Box to your cart. Be sure and opt to use the $35 promotional credit to pay for the box so you won’t be charged. You will also receive an email to the address associated with your Amazon.com account in 1-2 days.

What will you find in the Welcome Box?

Although contents of each box can vary, you may receive items like an Avent Baby Bottle, Swaddle Designs Swaddle Blanket, Pampers Wipes Case, Seventh Generation Diapers sample, RXBAR Whole Food Protein Bar and lots more!

Here’s what Hip2Save readers have to say about the Amazon Baby Box:

After 2 rounds of this box being out of stock (and the annoyingly long process of creating the registry, which consisted of things I had to register for just to complete the checklist), I was pleased with this box when it arrived! 1 full size Huggies wipes, 1 full size Avent bottle, 1 muslin swaddle (what a surprise!!), 2 samples baby wash/lotion, nursing pad sample, and three 3 diaper samples of various brands. I’d say it’s a great box, if you are planning to actually use Amazon as a gift registry. Otherwise the time completing the registry and checking the availability of the welcome box may not be worth it to some.

I received mine today and it was amazing! Five diapers (three newborn size, two size one) a travel pack for diapers and wipes from pampers with a travel pack of wipes inside, a full pack of buggies wipes, Avent bottle, several breast pad samples, a nice muslin swaddle blanket, trial size baby Dove soap, sample of sunblock, and trial size of baby Aveeno lotion. I’m very pleased!

Does it only become available once it’s shipped? I purchased over $10 from my registry and it doesn’t show that that condition has been satisfied yet.

    • Laura

Once the purchased item is shipped, I mean.

      • Keri

Yes once it’s shipped you can see it available

It worked! As soon as my order shipped o was able to claim the box. I hope it’s worth it- it was kinda a pain 😕
Looking forward to it’s arrival though!

I just qualified and claimed mine!
I had to go through the registry checklist and either add something from each category or check it off myself if I already have it, which I already have most of it so I just checked it all off and went back to the offers and it showed that I qualified and let me “claim offer”.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience!

I got it in 2 days and it had all the good stuff. Muslim swaddle blanket, diaper samples, bottle, full size wipes and a few samples. Love it!

Can you create a new registry for a new baby? My first baby registry is still on there from years ago.

    • Laura

Yes- so was mine! Go to registry settings and you can delete that one. Then just create a new one.

      • Brittany

        Thank you!

I got one this summer and I was really disappointed. No blanket, just some samples. I didn’t really need anything bc this is my second baby, but I was excited about it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear you were not pleased with your box Jamie! Thanks so much for your honest review!

I had the same experience–this was by far the most disappointing “welcome box” of all AND I’d had to buy $10 worth of items to get it. I got a small Avent bottle, a bunch of little sample packets of lotion and detergents and a Bai drink. (I don’t know WHO drinks that stuff while they’re pregnant but I didn’t drink anything like that.) Sure, having an extra little bottle was nice but I got one of those in literally every registry and welcome package I received so it was not something I didn’t get elsewhere. My favorite, BY FAR, was the Target welcome bag, that was awesome.

I just ordered mine! It showed as being worth $35 in the checkout/cart, but free after “promotional credit” applied.
