Anyone knows the quality of these compared to Shutterfly ?

    • isabella

Yes, I’d like to know this as well. And if anyone used the software for walgreens, and how user friendly it is. Love shutterfly books!

    • Dawn

I LOVE my Walgreen books. They are the only ones I make. I’ve tried Shutterfly but the program always crashed on me and left me frustrated after hours of work and no book. There are preset formats for quick books but also a lot of choices if you wantbto personalize with different formats, different backgrounds, add stickers or borders, rotate photos, add captions, etc

    • Mel

The book itself is easy to make, similar to shutterfly with placement of photos & adding stickers, etc. But the end product was not what I was expecting. The pictures were fine. But the way they attached the pages to the book itself is not like shutterfly. They have displays of the photo books on the photo counter. Ck one out before you decide.

I have made three or four books from Walgreens. for the price I think there really good.

Very curious to know .. I’ve done the Wal-Mart books just wish I knew how these were

    • m

How are the walmart photobooks compared to shutterfly?

  3. Melissa

I have seen samples of Walgreen’s photo books at the photo counter. They don’t look as nice or well made as Shutterfly. But $6.25 is a great price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the honest review Melissa!

Anyone made costco photobooks? How is their quality?

  5. Mourrene

Walgreens’ photo service isn’t the best in my experience so I decided to pass on the photo books. Good price though.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks so much for your feedback! We sure do appreciate it!

I love my Walgreens books. I have made several of them. They are an excellent value. If I could post a picture of some of books, I would. At this price, I’m going to make several—I have too many photos just sitting on my computer that I need to put into hard copy:)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Good to know how well your books have turned out! Thanks for sharing your experience!

  7. Rebecca

I have made them for gifts in the past and I think they are very nice! Shutterfly is definitely better quality but can come at a significantly higher cost even with promos. This is a great deal!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing Rebecca!

The quality is less than Shutterfly. I made one for my daughter and her friend after they took a trip together and both started falling apart within 6 months.
This is good for a quick book that you don’t want to keep long term, but if you want high quality stick with Shutterfly.

Oops meant to say thanks to you Clare!

    • Shari

      Darn it was already nabbed😢

  10. LIsa

I also have problems with the shutterfly site taking forever to upload..

    • Shari

Clare….thank you!!…I got it! Just finished a trip and wanted to make an album!

I LOVe my Walgreens photo books, but I’ve noticed there is a huge quality difference between the books that are shipped to you and the 1-day pick up books. Always go for the books that are shipped to you. The 1-day books have a cheap glued/on photo cover instead of an actual printed photo wrap cover.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your review Candace! Good to know!

  12. Michele

You can get a free shutterfly photo book by using one cap from a coca-cola product on their rewards page!!

Hi there… wondering if anyone can give me a bit of advice… I’ve never ordered any sort of photo anything. My daughters want to give their cousin some sort of photo blanket with several pictures of them all together for her birthday.. is there anything or anywhere you can tell a novice like me how to get started on this?? It’s for a 14 year old girl if that helps!!

    Thank you!!

    • Holli

I would go to Groupon’s and see if there’s any deals. that’s where I ordered mine and they were pretty good real real thin tho.

    • Cynthia

I use Snapfish. I created a blanket for my parents at Christmas and was very happy. They are pricy, but Snapfish usually has a discount code to make it reasonable. Right now, it 55% off orders over $30. They also have a beach towel that might be fun for teens, it’s $18 with a special. Another idea, we did a pillow for our cousin. You can add text to the pictures too.

Here’s a code for a FREE 8×8 photo book from Shutterfly (expires 9-30-17)

    • Laura

      Thank you so much!!!

You can us the code PRINTRMN through July 29th for $30 off $60 at Walgreens. I ordered 300 prints with this deal that works out .10/each.
