Hi. Is this just good for one person?Just thinking if I need to get one for my daughter (7yrs old)and one for myself. Thank you.

    • Lo

I think it’s good for 1 person. Also it has to be plugged the whole time to warm up the food. Don’t know how long it’s warm after unplugging

I ordered this deal twice…. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the crock pot! It worked great for my busy work day. I had a hot meal ready when I was ready and no need for the microwave or Tupperware!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear how convenient these have been for you! Thanks for the great feedback! 🙂

    • Paige

Do we know how long it stay warm after you put hot food in it?

      • Carrie

It takes about 1 hour to heat up… I think the website states to it heats to 165 degrees)… it’ll stay warm as long as it’s plugged in.

Thanks for the great ideas, stocked up on a few for Christmas. Yay!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome!

Good gift idea but fyi many teachers are not allowed to have appliances in the classroom anymore due to budget and energy concerns. Check with your district first!

    • CJ

We can’t either because of safety issues.

      • Jamie

My district said no to appliances for teachers too and sent home all coffee makers and mini fridges. I feel like a lunch warmer is in a completely different category. It will only be plugged in before lunch, so I’m gonna order one and keep it out of sight. I think this is the perfect teachers gift.

        • Shelby

Coffee makers?! Geez. Mini fridges I could see but give the teachers their coffee!

    • Erin

Every time this deal is posted, I wondered why anyone would need/want three of these (since so many people have easy/convenient access to other means of reheating food and/or don’t prepare/eat suitable foods to heat in a personal Crock Pot), but for teachers, it seems brilliant. Our elementary has one microwave for the entire school (and school lunches are nasty), so I could see how lunch could be an issue. It’s unfortunate that they aren’t allowed!

I’m thinking this would be a good idea to keep warm dipping stuff (like a crab, buffalo chicken or cheese dip) for a buffet party…when a huge crock pot is just too big! Or even to fill with chocolate or cheese for a FONDUE!!!

      Great ideas!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome ideas! Thanks for sharing!

ONLY HAD 2 COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM !!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! I do see that three colors are still available as I click through. Hope this helps!

  7. Trish

I have one in my office at work. It’s a lifesaver when your running all day hitting deadlines. I don’t skip lunch anymore. I have my food right there available no matter what time of day and I can eat during remote meetings (on mute).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience Trish!

  8. Tequila

These are great for people who are always on telephone meetings at their cubicles during and around lunchtime. I love these mini crockpots. I use my almost everyday….

  9. Ana

I received one of these as a gift and maybe it’s just me, but I can’t really understand what it’s use is. It doesn’t cook things, right? So I would pour like a can of soup in there or something and plug it in at my desk? Genuinely confused.

    • Rita

Yes, or use for leftovers. I put stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes in there or spaghetti and meatballs. So super-hot and no need to wait in line for a microwave.

    • Carrie

Reusing Tupperware (plastic) is a bit sketchy (and not so health conscious!), so that’s an added benefit. I’m a full time ER/trauma nurse. When I finally get 45 seconds (literally!) to eat, I love that my food is ready. IN the past, I’d reheat my food in the microwave 2-3 times before I actually get to eat it. This works perfectly for me!

    Only one color left

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! It looks like they are available in Pink, Red and Sky Blue. Hope this helps!
