Thanks for this! I’m split between tilt head and the professional series one. Could someone tell me which one is better? I don’t do too much baking. Which is better for occasional dough making? I heard the dough whip in tilt head is plastic and won’t last long? Thanks
Don’t know which is better but I’m fairly sure my dough hook is metal with a plastic coating. I have the lowest level 4.5 tilt head mixer
Im an expert baker and i would recommend a 6 quart if u are a frequent bread baker…if its just cakes/ brownies then a 5qt mixer will do. An occasional 4-6 cups of flour a 5 quart mixer will manage well…i wouldn’t double the dough recipe…i owned both the 5 qtr and 6 quart. I burned the motor of the 5 qt but the 6 qt is going good. Now i plan to buy the Bosch Ultimate..its expensive but from what i hear totally worth it.
