Starting August 14th and running through August 20th, My Coke Rewards is celebrating back to school by doubling up donations to your local school!

Donating is easy! Just head here to search for your school. Then, scan the cap code from your smartphone or enter it manually. There is no limit to how many codes you can enter, so be sure to start collecting codes over the weekend!

Your donation will go directly to the administrators at the school of your choice in the form of a quarterly payment which can then be used to purchase physical education and sports equipment, technology, and/or arts supplies.

Me too I stopped it all

  4. Kiwi

Yay! For once my laziness may pay off. I have a normal sized beach bag full of lids!

  5. Amy

I threw away 2,000 points. I now hate coke rewards. Why make people sick to their stomachs with uncollected points?

  6. Tracy

I thought we didn’t get codes anymore. Haven’t paid attention I guess. But, I will pay attention, our schools need all the help they can get. I recently checked my kroger card and in the last quarter I donated over 50.00 to the local spay neuter clinic just by buying groceries. That’s pretty awesome, I think

The old Coke Rewards is over – – – now they have a new program that I hate – Not worth my time to participate. They went from rewarding customers who purchased their products to coming up with rewards to help the outside world. That sounds great but I don’t trust Coke as 4 or 5 years ago they had a promo when you could enter codes to get soccer balls for your specific school. We had parents enter codes and we had enough to have our school receive 20 soccer balls (the max allowed). Guess what?? Coke never sent them. The Principal contacted Coke several times and they said it was controlled by an outside third party. It’s been 4 years and not a single ball has showed up despite the fact we have contacted Coke via email, telephone & letter! And they are in our home town of Atlanta!! After that, I don’t believe that “my donation” is really ending up in the hands of who it is intended for. When Kroger or Publix states they have donated XX in dollars to my childs school, I can call the school and they will tell you (the bookkeeper) if they received the check. It takes awhile, but they do indeed get it . . . nothing from Coke ever shows up.

Thank you Susan for explaining this. Now I’m super concerned about donating my codes (I saved all mine and have lots, but will pass on this offer until I can be reassured they will go to the intended school).

my school got those soccer balls and the 3 schools i’ve help since then have recieved over $3,000 from the codes since..

How does the Kroger donation work? I’ve not heard of that and I go there all the time.

    • Tracy

On the kroger home page, go to the menu and select community, you can sign up there. Hth

    • VaNeSteR

You log into your kroger account and there is a section for choosing an organization to give back to. You can type in an organization, or school and a percentage of your purchases go to them.

Did anyone see an explanation on the site of how this new program works? I didn’t even see a place to enter codes. I also tossed out a lot but found a few still hanging around… looked at the site and didn’t see a place to enter them. Not sure I’ll participate, but I would check it out. Liked the old program – mostly used it to get coupons for free 12 packs of Coke!

    • Mel

you don’t ‘bank’ them like the old MCR program. As of right now, they don’t have a rewards catalog. You just enter the codes into the individual sweepstakes/contests or promo’s.

      • K

That is what I understood as well…….but it isn’t exactly explained super clearly, IMO. I threw all of caps I had in the trash.

      • Pat Gale

thanks for the info. Kept thinking there had to be a place to enter codes, and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t finding it!

  10. Gaby

Too much sugar in soda pop. Bad additives in no cal. Lose lose.

  12. Jackie

Why do all good things have to end? I remember when I used to get free coke and even $50 gift cards for bass pro by putting my rewards points into the account. Just bring back the old rewards program! I have even stop drinking coke because of it. I mean I still drink it but not as much as I used to. I agree with not trusting these new points to go to schools etc. I remember the soccer ball program. I was able to get a ball also for my school. Didn’t know they didn’t even get them sent by coke. DONT TRUST THEM!

    • Holly

No kidding. Gonna miss the free 12 pack coupons in December. Companies aren’t as generous as they used to be. Guess it’s good in this case: more folks will drink less Coke.

  13. Jessica

I and PTA Treasurer at my sons school and we just got a $56 dollar check in from people donating Coke points to our school 🙂

    • sarah

Thanks for the feed back! makes me feel better about ‘worsting’ my time doing the work

  14. AnnieL.

I agree. New coke program stinks. I got gift cards on the old one. I’ve looked at the new “rewards” a few times but not interested in them. Seems like a big racket

    • Craig

Agreed! Hate this new program!! I had nearly 4,000 pounds left teying to use up at end on their stupid contest that limited you to like only 100 entries a day. List my remaining balance of points!!!! Grrrrrr

      • Craig

Sorry darn Google!! I said i was “trying” to use. And that I “lost”, not list.

  15. Kelly

Bottle caps regularly earn $.05, so $.10 each with promo.

  16. Sarah

Has anyone had trouble with entering codes this week during the promotion? I keep seeing inconsistent error messages and I can’t tell what codes are going through. The donation history section is also inconsistent. It used to be so easy to enter and donate codes, I really don’t like this new program!

  17. HopeUHaveAGreatRelief

how do I put in my codes manually?
