Please be aware. If your child drops this, the straw will pop off and you’ll have to open the cover and reattach, otherwise they can’t get anything out. Such a pain! We switched to the other Contigo bottles for kids where the straw I’d held in place by a loop.

Best water bottles ever. A little tip- there are two straw designs. I bought them at target and Kmart and the straw is separate and slides into a rubber piece. If you order from Kohl’s the straw is attached to a plastic piece and snaps together. The Kohl’s design is MUCH better. My straw just slides out of the one from target. I don’t know if they have updated the design and that’s why they vary by store but I ordered two more last month from Kohl’s and they were the “good” design and the other one I had ordered from Kohl’s a year ago was also this way.
The Amazon one looks like the rubber design where the straws fall out overtime. Check the Kohl’s link and you can see the difference.

The metal one is the best. My kiddos are hard on bottles..dropping etc. Metal ones are on year 2..a little dented on the bottom but still great. Ice lasts a long time too.
