And if you purchase an item from Staples and tell them within 14 days that you found that item at a lower price in their stores or online at Staples.com, they’ll refund the difference! Check out more details HERE.

Thank you! I only have one notebook left from last year’s Staples school supple haul. I bought 20 folders at Walgreen’s today for a dime each but they didn’t have black, which I need, and they did not have fasteners inside. The folks at my nearby Staples are nice and respectful too, which is always appreciated.

How can you use a Papermate coupon on the Staples Comfort Stic Ballpoint Pens? Is this a typo?

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

So sorry for the confusion Lola! I just fixed the post – thanks for letting us know!

Is this the same paper deal they had about 3 weeks ago? I just got my prepaid card for the rebate.

As I noted before not all staples will take manufacturers coupons – greatly disappointed to find out my staples will not take the coupons based on the whim of the manager. So I now shop else where.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Sorry to hear about that 🙁

Has anyone ever bought the staples brand pencils/erasers? Are they good quality or cheaply made?

    • Ami

Get Ticonderoga – they are the best in terms of writing and sharpening with ease. It’s worth spending just a tiny bit more for something your child/student will use everyday, throughout the day.

As a certified School Psychologist, wife to a teacher, and mom of 3, I will say that there are certain brands that it’s good to stick with:
      Crayons – crayola
      Markers – washable crayola
      Glue – elmers
Binders – Avery heavy duty or staples best
Folders – Nicky’s, and if you can’t find them then some type of pliable plastic that has pockets that go straight across to the middle fold.

That is more than you asked for but I hope it’s helpful to other readers.

Also to anyone who has a child that struggles with Executive Functioning, I have some tips too if you’d like to hear them.

      • Ami

I forgot to say that the staples eraser caps are great!

      • Anita

What is executive functioning? Please include tips. Thanks
