Will this dry all 5 fingers on one hand all at once? I use sally hansen and it only fits 4 fingers one hand And thumb of the other hand. Very annoying.

Yes, works great and has enough space for the whole hand. May need to treat extra round of time before fully dry though.

I have this one the last time calling posted it know you can put your entire hand under it and it works great!

I really want to do gel nails at home. Anyone have a UV lamp that can suggest what is needed besides this to do gel nails at home? Do you just get a gel color and top coat? Does it need a clear base coat as well? Is there an economical brand that anyone can suggest?

    • JJ

I have been doing gel nails at home for a few years…I use both gelish brand and off brand. There is a definite difference in quality and how long they last. After trying to use an off brand base and top coat, I am definitely sold on the gelish brand and will spend the extra for those and still use my cheaper colors. Gelish and Sensationail brands work best for me. There is a blue solution offered to remove the oils on your nails and remove the film after the last coat but I use rubbing alcohol and it works just as well. Hope that helps!

Also, I check the clearance racks at Sally’s and Ulta and have found some good deals to add more colors to my collection. I’ve even found brand new gel polish at Goodwill ☺.

Awesome! Thanks for the help. So can you tell me do I need a base coat, color, and top coat or just a color and top coat? That is good to know you have had success with the rubbing alcohol

          • Sarah

Yes, you need a base and top coat for all gel polish

Is this a skin cancer risk?
