Thanks Colin! The love free & no coupon clipping 🤣😂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Bethany!

  2. Knicks02

So the fruit gushers you would have to buy 10 of them since the coupon is $1 off 2 to get them for .49 cents, correct?

    • Janice

You have to buy at least 6 to get them for $0.49 each.

  3. Allison

Wow! Thank you for posting these! Thank you for everything you and your team do to help your readers save money! You guys are awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the sweet comment! Super glad to help you snag the savings! You’re SO welcome! 😉

  4. Katy

Can you buy all five in the same transaction or do you have to do five, separate transactions?

    • Lori Stevens

You will need to do it in 1 transaction because the coupon will disappear after that.

  5. Lora

Wondering if the goldfish deal will work since the coupon value exceeds the sale price?

    • Daniel

It will not work. Loading the eCoupon makes no difference. I tested it on Sunday; the mega sale started then in my area.

  6. Diana

Thank you! Is there option to select all coupons in their website? Should these work with kingsooper stores?

    • Suzanne H

There is a limit on the number of coupons you can load. I think it’s 150 so you can’t load all coupons. Not sure about Kingsooper stores.

  7. Daniel

The goldfish will not work. You will not get both the mega sale and the eCoupon together. The register will first take off $1 on each bag (eCoupon), making them 99¢. Since 99¢ is less than $1, no mega sale discount will apply. I tested this at my Kroger affiliate on Sunday; that is when the mega sale started there.
The fruit snacks would not work either, because although the eCoupon is $1 off 2, the register thinks one box is 99¢ and the other is $1.99, so you would get the same discount regardless of whether you load the eCoupon or not. However, there are two different eCoupons for the fruit snacks. The one that is usable five times acts like a store coupon, but the other acts like a manufacturer coupon. They stack. If you load both, you would get $1×2 for the eCoupons, and $1 for mega sale, making it 98¢ for two boxes.
The pepperidge farm cookies will definitely work; I tested it on Sunday. My affiliate had them at $2.89/$1.89, so a bit cheaper at 89¢ instead of 99¢.
As for the soda, I have no idea.

    • Holly

Thanks for posting: saved me a trip.

    • misti

Thank you so much for posting you saved me the hassle for trying the goldfish offer. I will get the cookie deal tho 🙂

    • Angie (Sweet Sidekick)

Thanks for the information! We have not yet had a chance to test the deal as it doesn’t start until tomorrow for us. But, we did add an update to the post. Thank you!

    • Lo

Thanks Daniel!! I didn’t think the goldfish would work since I’ve dealt with the mega item being below a $1

  8. Alli

Has anyone else tried the goldfish deal?

    • Daniel

      see above comment

      • Alli

Yes, besides you. I’m sure someone had to try it out and it to work before they posted it.

      • Courtney

You are the Daniel above though right? So no one else has tried it?

        • Jennifer

Just tried the goldfish deal. It did not work. Only can get $1.00 off so makes them $.99 each.

    • Liezl

I tried the goldfish today and it didn’t work…I was wondering why and I understand now how Daniel was able to explain it.

  9. Diana

Yeah last time they had the goldfish coupon and mega deal it would not work- it was a big hassle.

  10. Misti

Thanks just got home from Fred Meyers the digital coupon for me expires tomorrow but mega sale already started Sunday. I got the cookies for 89 cents each 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  11. Tiffani

Doesn’t work, the coupon makes them 99 cents each 👎🏼

  12. M

The O’Brien potato deal is awesome 69 a bag after the 1.00 digital coupon and the buy 5 sale. Thank you so much awesome deals. Mine all expire today here in WA

  13. alley

The cookie deal works! I just got 10 packs for
.89 each. There are actually 2 coupons on there for the 5x items in case y’all didn’t know. I just got 10 packs of Pepperidge farm cookies, 3 simply juices, and 2 bun length Oscar Mayer wieners for $14.75. I saved $33 according to my receipt. Thanks Hip2save crew

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! You’re so welcome Alley!

  14. Shannon

Please let me know if the soda deal works. Bummed about the goldfish. Oh well, some things are too good to be true.
    Thank you.

    • Lora

The soda deal worked for me except that only $4 mega savings was deducted instead of $5. I’m not sure why … didn’t notice until after I left the store so I’ll have to go back for a price adjustment.

      • Pat

It’s because Kroger’s registers are stupid. The first 3 2-liters are 1.79 each, and then the 4th one gets rung up as -0.21, because the $2 gets taken off that one entirely. Then when it tries to apply the mega savings, it works on the first 3 (since they’re 1.79) but not on the last one (because it’s already zero or less). The customer service people should be able to refund it without a problem.

  15. Pat Goff

The goldfish didn’t work and the fruit snacks didn’t work for me either. The soda worked but I bought 10 cause I had 2 $2 off 4 coupons.

  16. Alison

Lora, did you buy 7UP or a different brand? My ad only lists Vernors and Dr. Pepper, which is why I’m asking. Thanks!

  17. Pat Goff

Looking at the receipt I didn’t get the mega sale price on the two that took the ecoupon off ($4) but I guess it was still a great deal.

    • Ashley

Go back and get a price adjustment. I got ten bucks back for going and talking to them….no hassle from them

  18. Erica

So when I went to my Kroger this morning I noticed on my receipt that I did not get credit for most of my mega sale items. I went to customer service and was easily refunded the $10 for the mega items I bought. He said that out of the 7000 items included in the mega sale, only about 2000 items were in the system. He said the computer glitch was affecting all Kroger stores so check your receipts!!!

  19. cassie

The $5 didn’t come off on the gold fish for me. Customer service refunded it without any hassle.

    • Liezl

Thanks for the info. I went there today and it didn’t work for me. I will try to go to the customer service this weekend and hopefully I will get a refund.

  20. Ashley

I was overcharged by $10 today because of the mega sale on goldfish and the fruit snacks and 1 of the sodas not working. an additional ecoupon was added though on the fruit snacks because somehow the 2 stacked, but the lady told me that they are both manufacturer coupons and shouldn’t have. I got it all fixed though by going to customer service. Those receipts are so hard to read it took me a bit to figure out what happened. So if you are like me and had an issue make sure you go back and talk to customer service about it because you may find yourself $10 richer too! Thanks for the deals! I also was able to get $2 back on savingstar for the cereal on the sale and the fruit snacks. My total was originally 70 bucks and went down to about 17 after coupons and savingstar!
