Keep reading through the reviews. Yes, there are many that are positive, but there are also several that say the fan is loud, sound quality is not very good, the picture is dim and should be used in a dark room.

Just an FYI but in the Q & A part of the page a customer asked about the lamp life being 20,000 or 40,000 b/c they said in the description it contradicts itself. The seller said it was only 20,000 NOT 40,000 just so everyone knows.
This is a 1500 lumens projector . That is insanely bright and good quality for 84 dollars then with a discount ? That’s insane . Similar projectors are 90-150 dollars . I actually have been trying to buy projectors for the past year for my Halloween parties . I wanted the animations for my windows at night . Y’all please come back to this post & comment on how you like your projector! I’ve been dying to get 1, but as everyone has seen, the reviews always vary greatly (several great & several terrible reviews). The lumens seem like what is most important to get a good projector, but I’m pretty sure I remember reading in consumer reports that lumens are not a measurement that is regulated so it can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. What I walked away with after reading it was that the measurement is basically meaningless, which sucks because that seems to be the only way you SHOULD be able compare different models & tell the good from the bad. Unfortunately it seems there really is no way to tell without buying it to try out…you can’t depend on reviews and supposedly can’t depend on the measurement of lumens being accurate.
Does anyone know how to use a smartphone to play movies on this projector? Does my phone have to be physically hooked up to the projector? I was hoping to cast my movies to it so my phone stays close to me and not next to the projector. I have a Chromecast stick, hoping it works like how some people are using their Roku sticks.
