Heads up! Make sure you have your cell phone number added to your account before you text. If you don’t it will try to help you by asking for your email address, but then it will just keep asking for it over and over again.

Also watch your emails. I got an email that said I had $26 Freecash from Sears for in-store purchase. I hadn’t seen this new term Freecash before, but when I checked my SYW account there was indeed $26 for in-store at Sears under surprise points with no minimum purchase requirement! So I went to Sears yesterday and I was able to get a really nice 3 piece bathing bathing suit set for my daughter, a polo shirt for my husband, and a cute necklace for myself for only $6 OOP, the $26 dollars came off no problem, I just had to enter my pin number.

The text said $0.06 but when I clicked the link it said $7 to use on Kmart Clothing. I double checked my SYW account and it is listed there as $7 as well (expires Sept 10). Another item to add to my Sears FREECASH bargains yesterday!

You are totally correct, my text actually says “You’ve got $0.06 + FREECASH”. I didn’t recognize the 6 cents as my points balance. And then find the freecash amount when you click on the link. I had thought it odd that there was a plus sign, and prior comments led me to believe that Kmart just messed up their messaging (not that hard to imagine as plausible!), but now LIGHT BULB going off over my head! Thanks!
freecash cannot be redeemed to my items, tried socks, t-shirts, underwear, the points won’t apply, so disappointing….

This is off topic but I wanted to share my experience a few weeks ago at Kmart. I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble using the promotions sent by Kmart in the stores? The free kids sunglasses coupon was the last issue that I had with Kmart not honoring their own coupon. I had the coupon sent via text Kmart and took the appropriate item to the register and was told that the manager had told the cashiers that they were not to take the coupon because the in store system was not taking the Kmart coupon. I tried to speak with a manager and was told that there was not one in the store…Yeah right. I don’t believe that. I even left my phone number for the manager and called corporate without any response. I guess my frustration comes from the fact that I had tried to do something fun with my daughter and she was so excited to spend time with me and pick out sunglasses together, only to find out that I could not purchase them for her. I had to explain to her that we could not afford it. Before you judge my parenting and post that kids need to learn to deal with disappointment please consider that my husband is out of work, I work full time and I am a full time college student. I am doing the best that I can. I don’t get to spend as much special time with her as I have in the past. The trip to Kmart was planned as a special event for she and I. She has had tons of opportunity to experience disappointment lately this trip to Kmart did not need to be one of them. I did not like the way the situation was handled as in nothing was done, no one would speak with me and I had to deal with very upset disappointed child after working for 8 hours and studying for another 2hours. On top of it I had to explain to my child my financial shortfalls. No parent wants to do that or likes to do that. I have decided not to shop kmart any longer or sears because if a manager can’t even take the time to speak with a customer or call them back then that is not the type of company I want to spend my money at. Just my opinion.

Hi Barbara, I am very sorry for the outcome of your planned fun event. I would like to suggest you mail your post to Kmart corporate. There needs to be compassionate consideration by Store Managers as they do have the ability and authorization to take corrective actions for situations as you described.
I understand where your money is spent wisely and as a justified customer to go elsewhere but let Kmart know and hopefully they value you as their customer.

I hate we cannot use this online they have closed all our kmarts
yeah, I’m really angry because they JUST decided to close the busiest Kmart in my area. they also reduced the hours for another store, and have reduced the amount of inventory for most of the products at all of the stores it seems.
Yup they almost NEVER have the Friday freebies and cannot give anything in its place, it’s not really from Kmart and they can’t help their system not being able to alter SRW PROMOS… it’s a bit frustrating!

I got an email today saying I have $25 in freecash points for an in store Kmart clothing purchase! I didn’t even text anything. I’m are hoping it works. The last time I tried to use surprise points at Kmart they weren’t showing up in their system even though they were showing up if I logged into my account online.
I got 20$ on clothing to Kmart within days of doing it then got 28$ to sears I had to hunt in my emails for them it wasn’t posted in big black letters lol
My SYW account has the correct mobile phone number in the account setting. However, TEXT to KMart stating it did not recognize my phone number. Then it went to the never ending loop like Nikki said for email verification. Tried saving my cell phone number under account setting again, but still not recognized…
