Hi I was wondering how this card works mi son been asking for it but is it like an iTunes card or google card that u download games and it takes off the amount of the game sorry I’m just new at this thanks for your help I advance

it is a membership that you use to be able to play online games. it can be paid monthly or you can save by buying a year membership. You are also offered a few free games every month that you can download and play for free anytime as long as your membership doesn’t expire. this card is not a form of currency.

It is not like a gift card where you can put money toward a game. This is a year membership. You get to play online and PlayStation plus membership gets free game downloads monthly but you don’t have a choice about which games and they may not be appropriate for kids.

You are just a “plus” member. You’re able to buy games at a cheaper rate on the playstation network.

Tried checking out and am receiving this message: We’re sorry! This coupon cannot be applied because the coupon usage limit has been exceed.

    • Kimberly (Stylish Sidekick)

Hi CW. Are you signed in to your account. I did have it tell me it wasn’t valid for about 10 seconds, then it did go through. Not sure why, but it’s appears the code is slightly delayed in going through. I’d suggest signing into your account and trying it again. Just give it a few seconds. I hope this helps.

I am having the same issue. I am logged in and at the purchase point it cancels out the coupon and states the usage limit has been exceeded.

      • CW

Thanks, Kimberly! I tried again and received the same message, but waited a few seconds like you suggested and then hit the place order button again and it went through!

So just realized I was charged full price for this. Looks like it didn’t take the coupon off for me. 😔

Darn! I am still finding the discount to apply for me. Have you tied contacting them?

No place to enter a code

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! You will be able to enter the coupon code on the 2nd step of the checkout process, under “Coupons”. Hope this helps!

      • Jayme

Weird, that option doesn’t show for me. I have even tried mobile and desktop…

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Are you able to try a different browser?

  4. Renee

Did not work. Placed order and got error message saying code usage limit.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! It is no longer applying for me now either 🙁 Thanks for letting us know!
