If you are worried about possible issues, be sure to print off the Target Coupon Policy before heading out as it clearly states that you can stack a Target coupon and a Cartwheel offer together. It worked for me today. However, my 20% off candy should have taken $2.62 off and it only took $2.17 off. Not sure why.
Oh I see, on my receipt the 20% wasn’t taken off my skittles or tootsie pops. It was only taken off my chocolate candy. Odd.
I had the same problem with the M&M deal the other day. Took off $1.45 and it should have taken off $2.31

Remember the cartwheel is only good for four items, so maybe that is why the total deducted is a different amount for the cartwheel discount.
I was at Target today buying candy. Even though the text “category” coupon says 20% of off ALL candy, it isn’t. It worked fine for the fun size bags of M&M’s, Milky Way, and Snickers. It would not work for the variety pack (snickers, milky way, and M&M’s), Dove fun size bars, or the Halloween sweet-tarts I was going to get. They tried several times; I returned them and they tried to ring it up again. They came to the conclusion that Halloween candy isn’t included in the mobile coupon “candy” coupon even though it says all candy which doesn’t make sense??

Yes, customer service is who I was dealing with and they said they could not override the computer so I returned all of the candy classified as Halloween that did not take off the 20% mobile coupon.
Same! 20% wouldn’t work for my Halloween candy and they had to manually type in the discount. The cashier said it was weird because the coupon said “candy” and it should have worked. Must be some kind of glitch. Thankfully, my Target employees are awesome so there was no problem.
That was nice of them; customer service at my Target kept saying they could not override it so I returned the candy that was considered “Halloween” that the mobile coupon did not work with.
Yes, customer service is who I was dealing with.
So the deals that are posted. If I get those specific candy bags, it should work just fine? My Target hates me, the second I walk in I can see them talking.. I never cheat, never try to pull one on them, Simply they hate couponers. We all get singled out. Its horrible.

The 20% wouldn’t come off any of my candy. I went to customer service and they said it can only be the candy coupon or cartwheel. Did anyone else have an issue?
So yesterday they told me it would not apply to Halloween candy and said they could not override it. Today, I went to a different Target about five miles from the other; no problems. Everything worked fine – actually 25% came off the candy instead of 20%!! Either there was a glitch that they fixed or the other store’s computer system has issues.
