How do Bonus Rewards work?
They are different than your normal rewards. Your bonus rewards certificate will be available in your online account within 5 weeks. Simply log in to or create your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on “View My Rewards Certificates” to view and print your unexpired reward certificates. You can also access your rewards certificates on your smartphone after creating an online account.
Reward certificates can be redeemed at any Office Depot or OfficeMax store, online or by phone at 1.800.463.3768. For online purchases, your unexpired certificates are available at checkout.
Could I use earned rewards on this purchase to earn these rewards? Basically rolling rewards?
No, you cannot earn and redeem rewards in the same transaction. Here is what I find in the details – “Purchases made with Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards and Merchandise Cards/Certificates do not qualify for rewards.” Hope this helps!

I have rolled rewards on the batteries the last few times I purchased them. It does not mean it will work again but it has for the last few.
My rewards rolled last time too. I had no idea that they were not suppose to.
