I see these on Groupon all the time. Currently they have them for $33.99 and they often have coupon codes that can be applied.
there are many different brands out there with different weight limits, and some work better than others. I believe the one you are looking at may be the one by Lil’ Rider. The one above is the original Plasmacar with a higher weight limit.
Gotcha. I bought one from groupon a couple years ago maybe. It seems to hold me fine; I’m about 135 lbs.
What are the age ranges on these? Wondering if it’s too small for my 8 year old. It looks fun!
Adults can ride on these easily! My husband & I ride our son’s plasma car all the time when playing with him. Your 8 year old should have no problem & it will not be too small for your child! HTH!!!
Your 8 year old should be able to ride it fine. My 90 lb 11 year old uses it and it hasn’t broken.
My 5 year old has had his for two years, it’s a favorite with everyone that comes over to play!!! My husband even rides it sometimes 😂

There are great and both my 3 & 6 year old love them! However, just an FYI, be prepared for your child’s shoes to be ruined! Maybe it’s just my children, but the only way to stop the scooter is to drag your toes on the ground. I can’t tell you how many shoes I’ve had to throw away because they had holes in the toes! (And if you look closely, it looks like the girls’ shoes in the picture are also worn at the toe, too!)
Yes! My kids ride theirs in the basement and have ruined many pairs of socks! Maybe buy some cheap off brand crocs with it!
In regards to the shoe problem… I guess I never noticed…. My kids wear crocs or croc knock-offs and crocs boots outside… We also don’t have hills around here or at my old house….Maybe that makes a difference?

YES!!! I have designated play shoes that I make them wear because my 2 kids have literally ruined 10 pairs of shoes. It completely rips open the front sides of all their shoes.
I am assuming this is the original plasma car?? ( I DO NOT like the knock-off brands) If this is the original, we LOVE these! I have a large family and we’ve had these for years. The wheels break, and we buy new ones off Amazon that are even better. Occasionally, after a number of years they do go in the trash… but they are a good investment!

These are great! I got 3 last year when Hip2Save posted almost the same exact deal around Christmas and my kids LOVE them! We take them to the hall at a church we clean and they absolutely fly! They are a little hard to do outside if the ground isn’t too smooth, but my kids use them almost daily. Just snagged one more for my youngest so he doesn’t have to hitch a ride on the back of one of the bigger kids!
Bought these in red, yellow, pink and blue 2 years ago for my daycare. Staples had them for $19.99. Yes, I said Staples and the kids really love them!
We’ve had two plasma cars for about 6 years now. My boys (currently 9, 6 & 3) all love these. My husband & I have ridden them MANY times as well. When our 2nd two were too young to ride on their own we’d ride with them in our laps. I think they used them outside at their grandparents house once or twice when we took them over but we’ve always used them indoors bc we have concrete floors. Anytime friends come over to play the cars are a hot commodity. Loads of fun.
