I think I have a relative to this set. The only difference is that the backs of my chairs run vertical instead of horizontal. It has lived through 15 years of daily use at meals, homework, art projects, you name it. It is also pretty much the only thing that survived a flood in my house since it is wood, not pressed board junk. If you are on the fence, get it. Its not an heirloom set but is perfect for us!

Save your money. From experience this set is really cheap. Just putting in the screws gently, cracked the wood. The chairs are supur flimsy. You need to buy woodglue and some more hard wear to strengthen them. Even at its strongest, I wouldn’t trust much weight on the chairs.
