  Should be lower around black friday. I think I saw it being advertised at kohls for around $199 on BF (could be off on the price slightly) plus you get $15 kohls cash for every $50 spent

  This one at Costco is a 6 qt and Kohls has the 6 qt on black friday for $399 after a $70 Mail in rebate. You do get $120 kohls cash. I just hate doing the MIR since half the time they never come 🙁

  For Costco, if you have Executive + the Costco Card I would include your rebate percentage back on this deal when you compare, as it’s a high ticket item. Also, I would factor in the Costco no-hassle return policy (which is sometimes even longer than the mfr warranty). Costco stands behind what it sells, unlike most other retailers. It’s hard to understate how much that matters — it’s the difference between being told to call the manufacturer warranty center, having to pay to ship this heavy item to them, pay a service fee, and wait 3 months to get it back vs. taking it to CS in the store, without a box or receipt, having them look up the purchase 11 mo. earlier and saying, “no problem, I see on your account when you paid for it, so I can issue a refund today.”

  The sale at Kohls on BF on the 6qt is still cheaper…however i hate that there is over $100 Kohls Cash so i will wait till after BF …they will send a 40% coupon a week later(they have been doing that from the last few yrs) So with the mil in rebate and the $50 KC it will be cheaper.

  I’ve been kicking myself since early last Dec that I didn’t get the kohl’s deal on the 6qt. I was even lucky enough to get a 40% off code! (though i’ve seen someone post – i forget where now, bummer – a link where you could keep clicking on a code generator, til you got a 40% one!) it was on sale with a $50 rebate & then like $75 KC. i’m trying to hold out for closer to that timeframe again, but this IS a good (especially oop) deal at Costco too… they are not the exact same mixer though either. Kohl’s (KP26M1X) is a 600 & has a 6 wire whisk and 575 watt motor, while Costco’s (KP26M9XC) is a 610 & has an 11 wire whisk and a 590 watt motor. Kohl’s offers more color choices (I don’t care about that though).    You can get some of the items cheaper at Sam’s. I have seen the L’il Critters Kids vitamins less than $10 after the instant savings at Sam’s.

   In my experience the women’s 32 degrees clothing runs a bit small. I would suggest going up a size if you don’t like your shirt tight.

   I think H2S has spoiled me. It might just be me, but I don’t see these as deals. Thanks to H2S, the items I buy can be bought elsewhere for lower prices. It is hard to justify my Costco membership. I feel like a thief when I go there with the thief-guard at door. It makes me feel like I did something wrong.

  The person at the door is supposed to be checking for item count to help catch cashier mistakes its not a “theif-guard” though I guess it may deter that too. At some of the busier locations they will have carts they put your items into as they are scanned then your original cart gets moved to the end of the register for the next person. Items can be missed. It is also to check for call items like stamps and make sure you get them.

  I agree I hate the door checkers. It is such a waste of time. Why do you need to show membership when you enter. And at the checkout. They should pick one or the other.

   Nothing beats tires and their free rotation and free nitro air. I will never give up my membership for that alone. Gas is great too. Otherwise I shop Costco for convenience. I don’t have time to go from store to store to store.

    I like the Costco deals plus the comments! I learn about good products, good prices and people’s experiences. Although some items I can buy elsewhere cheaper…the size, the organic items, and the return policy are priceless. I dont mind the door people at all. Ours have been friendly and welcoming. At our front door the “greeters” are counting on a clicker the number of customers entering. They keep track of volumes and know the average number of customers per day/time of day. Hth!
