I waited for a deal on the Cricut Explore One. I got is for $137 and am happy with the purchase. I’ve had it for almost 2 years and have used it in spurts here and there. I’ve used it to decorate t-shirts and my kids’ crafts. It’s also come in handy for my Girl Scout troop. There’s so much more potential. If you can, borrow one from a friend. My sister-in-law has mine now. She’s starting on Christmas presents. I would recommend it!
I have one of the older Cricuts that uses cartridges and the Cricut Explore. I use the older Cricut more often because I’m more familiar with it. I’ve used it for party decorations, gift or goodie bag tags, etc. I’m sure once I get more comfortable with the Explore, that will be my go-to machine. Just need to find the time to learn the ins and outs. I have a friend who uses her Cricuts for just about EVERYTHING and just recently bought the latest one (Maker). She’s going to give me a quick lesson. I think Carlyn’s suggestion of borrowing one is great. All that said, I love my machines and my kids think it is the coolest thing ever since they can customize their tags for class treats.
I prefer the Cameo. Biggest negative about the Cricut for me was that you needed internet anytime you wanted to design or cut. I bought the cameo 3 for $170, machine only. And bought quality vinyl and accessories, instead of a bundle.

Cindy, this is such a good deal! & I purchased my Cricut with a deal very similar to this earlier this year and I have no regrets! I LOVE IT! I can do so much with it! If you are into crafting you will love it. I’d tou are concerned about the price… just keep in mind anywhere else you would see this wouldn’t include all you are getting here. This deal includes a ton of vinyl ! Iron on and regular. Leather sheets and more.!
If you think ilghebprice is still steep you can wait around for another one to come around but they aren’t often so remember that. Hope that helps !
I have the cricut explore and absolutely love it! We have cheerleaders and use it often for comp gifts, I use it for Birthday banners, teacher gifts, t-shirts and the list goes on. I highly recommend!
I lucked into an Expression Air 2 on one of the Facebook yard sale groups. It was never used. My daughter loves it and had already paid for it with cute things she’s sold.
Wish they had something like this when my kids were young. Would have gotten a lot of use!

I’ve read several comments about the “cheap vinyl.” Is the vinyl that comes with this bundle the cheap or good vinyl. What is the good vinyl to get??
