We have some for our doors. Specifically because our almost 3 year old learned how to unlock the sliding glass door, as well as the screen. It works really well & quickly! The second the door slides open it goes off! Plus extra security is a good thing! Im thinking of getting some for the windows as well.
We used one of a different brand when my grandma started wandering after she developed Alzheimer’s. We couldn’t go to the bathroom when we were alone with her bc she’d forget and try to leave. It worked really well for us. Was loud enough to hear upstairs, where their bathroom is.

For those that own these, are they easy to activate/deactivate? Also for those who use on windows – my house is over 100 years old and if it’s windy the windows rattle. Will this set off the alarm?
