We only use ours inside the house on the hardwood. We have had ours for 12 years and it is still going strong! I think that it has always been one of the favorite toys, especially on rainy Portland days. 😃

Can 5 year olds ride this?
Yes I have 2 of these for my 5 and 7 year olds but it does ruin your kids shoes. I bought a $3 pair at Walmart and make them wear those. They ride it over concrete outside.
What does it do to the shoes?
If they use their feet to slow down, it wears the soles down

Those saying they have gotten these for cheaper make sure it’s an actual PLASMA car as there are several knock off ones (one main one is wiggle car) and they do not work nearly as well. This is one of the toys that you get what you pay for so spend it right the first time-I have made the mistake of getting a wiggle car and it was not worth it.

Got these last year for my grandkids’ Christmas and they really enjoy them. I understand they’re sturdy enough for an adult but I haven’t been brave enough to try!
