This pot has a nonstick interior, whereas the Instant Pot is stainless steel. That’s the reason I chose the Instant Pot over other pressure cookers.

True!!! That’s the only reason I won’t buy. I would love to see that in stainless steel.

I made my choice for the same reason. I don’t know how many people are aware of the possible health dangers that nonstick coatings might pose. Of course, it is always an individual choice, but if you are not even aware there is a choice to make … 🙂

What about the other brand that was posted yesterday?

The crock pot brand is that stainless?

I’m pretty sure it is also non stick. So far the Instant Pot is the only one that is stainless steel that I know of.

Gowise is a popular option too, tons of positive reviews, and comes in stainless steel.
I opted for the midea bc they are the masterminds behind the technology when it first started in China. Mine also has stainless steel.
So basically there are other options, the midea was very affordable compared to the instant pot, which helped in my decision..I have purchased two dif electric cookers from amazon and have been happily using them for a year now!

I know the issues about non stick but just curious does food stick to the instant pot?
