if you install some third party addons you get live tv…look for info on installing kodi…or modpro apk and you wont regret it 🙂
Haven’t had cable for over a year, don’t regret it at all. Everything is streamed and we get the basic channels with a $20 Mohu antenna.

I ditched DirecTV for DirecTV NOW when it first came out and was offered the next to largest package for the smallest package price for life ($35) with no hidden fees or taxes. They are slowly adding in the local stations as they acquire them too. The total number of channels is now up to around 130 and I can stream through the Amazon Fire Stick as well as on my phone or tablet so it is very nice. I also love the no more lost signal when the wind blows! Add a digital antenna for the locals that they miss and there ya go. Missing nothing.
We have a firestick in every room. It is pretty amazing. No cable bill- my husband setup kodi and lots of other apps? Idk. The thing makes no sense to me- im not techy at all. We get everything! He doesnt even want to buy blu rays anymore and we get ppv events as well. We only pay wifi now :))
