Hi all! Is there a way to submit for rebate without cutting the UPC off the box (not giftable, in my opinion)?
No it has to be off the box. If you are careful you can peel the upc off by scoring only the top layer of the printed cardboard and then it just looks “ripped” and not like the box was all chopped up. But in my experience people love gifts and aren’t paying much attention to the bottom of the box.
PHOTOCOPY YOUR REBATE SUBMISSION!!! For the past two years and I have done this rebate and both times they send me a letter saying the rebate is ineligible. Then I mail them my copy of the rebate submission (with the upc and receipt) and they honor it.

Just a head’s up…I did this a couple years ago with Kohl’s, and they got so far behind on shipping I didn’t get my orders until after the rebate submission date. It was before Christmas, but not in time for the rebate. I ended up calling them and they made it right. But you might order this prepared that you may have to make a call to get the deal. 😊

I would be careful with this one. Last year I used did this rebate and they sent me a prepaid card. It didn’t come and had to get it re-issued a few times. The third time they said they couldn’t re-issue it again and had to wait to figure out a way to re-send it. It finally came in the end and had a month to use it up. I tried to use it on the last few days of the month and it was declined. Not a big deal I thought. Silly me I believed Visa’s terms and conditions that the card came with that the funds don’t expire and it is a valid through date, all I have to do is call to get a new one. WRONG. I called and even though now they can charge the account $3 a month in maintenance fee they don’t re-issue the card and I can’t use those fund. That just tee-s me off. Sorry for my rant, Just a $40 mistake that I thought people should know.
