   Am I correct to think I should buy 4 and use them back to back? $39.96 for a year is better than buying a 12 month for $50ish.

  That’s my plan too! I give one to my son every hear for Christmas and haven’t seen a 12 month on sale this year.

  It only let me buy 3 physical cards, too. After check out, I went back in and ordered one as a digital download.

   It allowed me to order 3 with store pickup and 1 emailed. Target has a 12 month $49.99 or $47.50 with your Red Card

  Give it another try. When I tried again I was able to order 3 shipped free to my home. I’ll do about anything to not have to go into an actual Best Buy 🙂
