In love with my warmer! I got three the last time they were on sale for this price. No more wasting at least five minutes of my lunch break waiting for my food to warm up because I also have to wait in line for a microwave! I plug it in 60-90 minutes before I want to eat.

Before I retired from teaching, I used this lunch crockpot nearly every day. It was great for soup or leftovers from dinner the night before. Although our faculty room had two microwaves, there was always a line of teachers waiting to heat up their lunches, so it was a real time saver. I can personally vouch for it making a great teacher gift!

These are great for people who are always on telephone meetings at their cubicles during and around lunchtime. I love these mini crockpots. I use my almost everyday….

Reusing Tupperware (plastic) is a bit sketchy (and not so health conscious!), so that’s an added benefit. I’m a full time ER/trauma nurse. When I finally get 45 seconds (literally!) to eat, I love that my food is ready. IN the past, I’d reheat my food in the microwave 2-3 times before I actually get to eat it. This works perfectly for me!

I love to use mine at home during the weekend to make hot cocoa. I throw in some milk, cinnamon or vanilla bean and solid milk or partial milk chocolate bars. I wait an hour or so and cocoa ready for winter afternoon. Sometimes I make hot toddys. Mulled cider. Poached pears or apples. Since I got 3 last time it was on sale, I leave one each for soup, food and drinks/desserts.

How long does the food stay warm? This seems great for my kiddos, except for the plug in part, but if the food stays warm long enough it would be perfect.

      • Daniela

I have left it plugged in the entire day at work and had soup (or Mac and cheese) here and there, gets warm after an hour. Once you unplug it, gets cool in about the same time. My boyfriend got one for his grandma in a nursing home so she can reheat the food that gets delivered to her room. It is very safe.

          Thank you!

Yum! Thanks for the amazing feedback!

I want 1. But thats the keyword ONE. I have no need for the other 2. Ive seen this deal posted numerous times before but always for 3. Oh well
Thanks for all the other deals i jump on !! Lolol

    • Sue

Maybe you could go in with two relatives or friends who also want one? Each person could chip in $10.

    • Auntie M

They also make an awesome and inexpensive gift for an office person!

    • Jodi P

I’d get all three and give one as a gift, and keep the 2nd one for a spare insert and lid. buying a spare insert and lid is $10 without the crock.

    • Carolyn Wells

This is a super deal, other brands carry lunch crock pots but they’re 19.00 -29.00 for one.

  3. Whitney

    Don’t forget 4% at ebates!

    • SquirrelGirl

      Thanks, I almost forgot!!!

  4. Donna

I love mine! Use it everyday at work. They make great teacher’s gifts

Yay! I was planning to get one for my dad for Christmas. He works road construction so a hot lunch doesn’t happen and he gets tired of sandwiches. There are adapters online to plug these into the cigarette lighter in the truck. He will love this!

    • Jessica

Where do you find the adapter?

      • Moni B.

Jessica – U can find car power inverters at Amazon. You can get one that has one or even two A/C outlets (to run the mini Crock Pot), USB outlets, and some even have (another) cigarette lighter outlet (since the inverter itself uses the one provided in your car).

    • AOhio

      Thanks for the idea!!!

  6. Delms

perfect for the gift cabinet! Especially if I’ve missed somebody. Everybody could use this. Even me! So cool thanks

  7. Moni B.

I will vouch for this product! It’s awesome, works great for me at my workplace. Plug it in and the red light reminds u that it’s on. It warms up canned soup, leftovers, and cooks frozen chicken to cooked! Just allow it to stay plugged in long enough. No more waiting in line with fellow employees to use the microwave!

I bought these last year and my husband and I love it!! We put leftover Chinese food or even spaghetti in them and the food taste fresh and gets heated evenly. It’s perfect for work.

  9. Marie

I ordered three of these as teacher gifts at the beginning of the school year. It has been a lifesaver for me as well. We all love it!! Keeps my food hot, and it heats the food up really fast too. I will definitely be sharing this deal.

  10. Cari

I ordered 8 for teacher gifts.

  11. Renee

How often do you need to replace the insert?

    • Moni B.

I’ve been using mine steady for over a year with no need to replace it. I guess it depends on how well u care for it. Wash and dry regularly, try not to drop or ding it (it’s made of metal, I think aluminum). The lid is made of plastic which pops up a bit off of the metal pot while the Crock Pot is heating. But no cause for alarm…the instructions explain that is normal. The outer lid keeps everything on tight.

What’s about putting cheese and salsa in it for a single serving of dip?

    • Moni B.

That sounds like a great idea. I’ll try that out! The device should warm the cheese up nicely. Just monitor it to get the proper length of time since there’s no low/med/high heat. Just one heat! Medium, I believe.

Ebates is now 8% back on crockpot.com!

  18. Dhwani

  19. Ami

    Sweet! Thanks so much.

Just ordered mine. It was 3 for $31.80 and FREE shipping and through E-Bates it stated 8% Cash Back ($2.40) So it’s like getting them for $9.80 each. They will make great office Christmas gifts!

  20. Kim b

what is a good idea to combine with this for a gift for a teacher?

    • Shawn

Chocolate or a small gift card to the local coffee shop like Dunkins

  21. Winston

Nice post. I learn some thing a lot more challenging on various blogs everyday. It’ll normally be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice somewhat one thing from their shop. I’d prefer to make use of some with the content on my weblog no matter if you do not mind. Natually I’ll provide you with a link on your web blog.

Take this down. This is not available . Tried to buy something from another site you have … No longer available. Are the sites on here not checked out for availability ? Very annoying when you have to join their sites to get the deals, then the deals are no longer available .

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Sorry for the confusion! Looks like the deal has ended. Just expired the post!
