Does anyone have experience with the video monitor?
I have this baby monitor and it’s great! The only thing I would like to change is you have to have it plugged in for the screen to continually stay on. It will shut off after 2-3 mins unless it is plugged in – I believe it’s to save the battery. Got it as a shower gift and it’s great! You cannot move the camera electronically though. Has worked great for us. My son is now 15 months old and he’s chewed and thrown the monitor (like little boys do) and it still works as great as the day we brought it home!
Not sure why Kim said what she did, you can absolutely move the camera remotely using the arrow buttons on the monitor. You can also have the screen stay on without it being plugged in, just go to the menu on the monitor and turn the timer for the screen off. You can add additional cameras to switch between too. I have been using this monitor for 2.5 years with 2 cameras hooked up. I had to replace the monitor battery a couple of moths ago but it’s easy to swap and cost maybe $9 on Amazon. It has night vision too and you can talk through the camera using the monitor. I’d recommend getting the wide angle lens to go with it. I can see almost the whole room with it.
