I bought this mattress several months ago on Amazon on the recommendation of other family members. It is more comfortable than my expensive pillow top mattress. Very easy set up. I also purchased the suggested mattress cover on Amazon. It fits the mattress very well and washes well too. Very happy with my purchase.
I have this mattress in queen and absolutely love it. You cannot go wrong. I kind of want to upgrade to the king size now!
I bought this about 6 months ago when it was posted – I purchased it because of the satisfaction guarantee thing and I am really picky with mattresses. Well here I am 6 months later and still love it and it seems to be holding up extremely well! And no it does not heat up or at least I have not noticed. For anyone on the fence about this, I say go for it! You can not go wrong with the Zinus Green Tea 🙂
I have this mattress and i love it. The green tea seems to keep everything cool and it doesn’t get hard in the cold or smell sweaty in the heat. Give it 8 hours to expand and its awesome. Had it for awhile. Love it.

Is this firm or soft. We are looking for a soft memory foam mattress but dont want to pay the 1800 that they are at the furniture store.
Firm. I’ve had the king for 1 year and bought my daughter a twin for college last summer. I just bought a twin for my other daughter. We love it! It is a firm mattress.

We have this in our guest room IMO it’s a firmer memory foam, so great support but Not squishy like a mattress topper would be. I actually stuck a mattress topper on ours to make it more comfy.
At this price point you won’t be dissapointed, if it’s not soft enough a 2″ foam topper will make it better. 🙂

Does this go on top of a box spring? Or can it?
It can go on a box spring. We have a platform bead with a solid piece of wood underneath and that works just as good.
Is the foam filled with horrible chemicals? I looked online and couldn’t find the answer. I read so many things about foam mattresses being bad for your health!

No, it really didn’t. It does smell a little, but much less than I was prepared for.

I am so sold on these bed in a boxes. I bought them for our kids and ourselves and we all love them. I agree that the quality is nicer than a regular mattress. I won’t buy anything but a bed in a box from now on. I really like that I don’t feel my husband tossing and turning. Our $1700 mattress that we bought I felt every move and turn but not these. At this price you can’t go wrong at all

Amazon is not a good place to buy a mattress unless you’ve already tried it out somewhere else in person. You never know if you’ll like a mattress until you’ve tried it out thoroughly for yourself. Amazon will not take returns on an opened mattress. Much better to buy from a place that gives you an option to return if you don’t like it. Trust me…..it’s very important to have the option to return if you don’t like it. Mattresses are expensive and you don’t want to make an expensive mistake.
