Has anyone else had trouble redeeming their $25 Google Express/walmart credit after buying the $29 Google home Mini at Walmart? I have attempted to redeem it two times now and each time my order is cancelled. I set up a chat with Google Express customer service and they just said it is a “glitch” and they are having trouble with their order placement at Walmart.com. No resolution, no help. They said to try again this weekend, so I guess I will try it for a third time. Such a waste of my time. I sure hope they get their act together soon. Really frustrated. Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only one?

I was able to redeem seamlessly. I linked my walmart account to my google express account before I got the mini and then when i set it up i got an email saying i have the credit. I’ve seen some ppl complain about it though so ur definitely not the only one getting trouble.

whats the difference btwn this and the mini? besides the size…

    • Veronica

The sound quality of the speaker. The mini is by no means a bad speaker, just not as great when comparing it to the regular google home. Other than that it’s the exact same thing with the same functions.

Can someone please explain to me what this is?

    • Rachel

We love ours and actually have several of them and just added a mini. It’s a smart home decice. We have google play so listen to music, it connects to our nest products so I can raise and lower the temp of the house by talking to it. We recently got some smart lights too so I can turn those on and off by my voice. You can ask about the weather or any question you may google. It can also read off a recipe… it’s come in quite handy! This is an excellent price! And actually love the full size one more than the mini.

    Why would you need 2?

I have one upstairs and another downstairs

Some people have them throughout their house so theg don’t have to yell & can access it whenever. We just have one up & one downstairs.
