I’m brand new to circut and I needed one of those “pick” tools to weed with. I grabbed a dental pack at the dollar store and it has a very nice metal pick which works REALLY well for weeding. I’m sure there are circut pro’s shaking their head at me right now, but it worked, and was super cheap!

I don’t have a cricut but I love your way of thinking and problem solving. Yes…the others are shaking their head but thinking… “wish I would have thought of that!”

    • Rachel

Whatever works is how it goes in the cricut world. I’m sure you aren’t the only one using dental tools.

    • Susi

I’ve had a Cricut for a few years & also use the dental tools. I found trying to use the larger “weeder” is now difficult for me since I’m use to the tiny head of the dental pick!
They work great & were super cheap

I have had a Cricut for almost 10 years and I have found that tweezers work best for me to weed!

I have been waiting on a deal for the Easypress machine to help with iron-on projects. Joann coupons never apply to cricut and I haven’t seen it cheaper than $130 – any advice?

I have no clue what “weeding” means in the Cricut world, but there’s nothing wrong with being innovative and creative!

I’ve been holding off on buying this. I have a really old one that requires cartridges. Is this the best price or has it gone lower?

    • Michelle

It’s $185 on amazon. This is about the lowest I’ve seen them. I have this one and love it. I bought the bundle on Amazon when I got it for about $280 with vinyl, pens, tools and other extras. Of course it’s only $269 on Amazon now.

      • Sara B

Thanks for the info and feedback. I appreciate it.

I purchased a Cricut in January. It was a better deal than the ones they had during the holidays.

        Geo, Do you remember how much you paid in January?. I’ve been so tempted to get this but I’m hoping the deals are better after Christmas. Don’t know whether to wait or not :{

        • Geo

It was around $140. It was the Explore Air (Explore Air 2 had not come out yet). I was able to stack a coupon code with a discount.

I just ordered one from Wal-Mart (in their exclusive but not my favorite denim blue color) for $199 but it includes a bunch of extras like a cutting mat, tool kit, etc.

        • Terry Sizemore

I ordered the same bundle from Walmart on 11/24/17. They “lost” my order in transit to the store. I was promised a “replacement” by 12/8/17. Estimated shipping date is now 12/13/17. I hope this does not happen for you.

      Woohoo! You’re welcome, Pam!
