Darn it. I ordered both of these on Blk Fri for gifts. Wonder if I can do a return & rebuy? Neither are open yet.
I had this model and had all kinds of problems with it and had to fight with nest to get any type of customer service. I eventually got my money back after opening a complaint with the BBB and contacting them through Facebook directly since the customer service line was outsourced. After they agreed to refund my money and purchased the 3rd generation Nest and it has been working great.
I had problems with the NEST E model which is the white one.
