haha, I was hoping someone would start some scenarios for this sort of deal…I knew they had to be out there but I was being lazy in finding what offered the gift cards;)

    thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome! 😉

  2. Lacey

I received a mailer with a coupon for a $10 GC with a $50 storewide purchase. Would make deals even sweeter if you combined it with other GC deals!

    • Tasha

Thanks for the reminder! I had forgotten about mine. $10 more in savings!!!

  3. Sarah

I was trying to do similar to this but I also added he subscribe to and I can’t get the 20 off 100 to come up. Thought I might get that extra savings. It says all the items are good for the 20 off 100 but not working when I did subscribe to darn

    • Lila

The $20 off $100 doesn’t combine with the 5% subscribe discount. I had to uncheck all the subscribe boxes until the $20 came off

  4. Lk

Wow, now I might have to go with your scenario. Thanks.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  5. GAAT

3 All Detergent, 3 Gain Fabric Sheets , 3 Gain Scent Boost and 3 Bounty Paper Towels $97 plus $40 in gift cards back! Plus 2% back from swagbucks if my purchase counts!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Woohoo! YW!

  6. KED

Does Gain detergent have a no scent product?

    • Yahshur

No, but All Free and Clear and Tide Free and Gentle both have GC deals going, too.

  7. Klg534

I was able to apply the $10 gift card if you spend $50 promo that was mailed to me. This got me four $10 gift cards on a $92 order (after taxes and such) so $52 bucks for 9 household items.. 🙂

  8. Kellie

Bought some burts bees gift sets buy 1getone 50% off for teachers along with the toilet paper deal. Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Oh cool! You’re welcome Kellie!

  9. Jess

I am having an issue with the discount coming off properly. I got some of the gift sets that are BOGO 50% off and when I go over $100, it takes $20 discount off but it isn’t the full amount. I had $25 off with my kits and then it only took $40 off when I went over $100. I don’t know why it’s not going up to $45. Anyone else having this issue or know why it would be happening?

    • Kel

      Me too.

I was trying to combine it with the Yankee candles which are b1g1 and the amount coming off was not correct. People might want to check.

      I gave up.

      • fivejaze

Isn’t this a better deal for Yankee Candles?

Could not use the $10 off $50 coupon, it cannot be combined with orders that will give a GC back, at least that’s what i read and the system would not accept it. I paid $72.11 plus tax out of pocket, used previous $10GC got back 3-$10GC, this is what i bought, i also shopped on need
    3 Gain Original 120oz $11.99 ea
    2 Ultra Downy 129oz $9.99 ea
    3 All Detergent 150oz $9.99 ea

  11. yalondaamonson

  12. Brittany

is the cottonelle the only kind of toiilet paper included in the $10 giftcard deal?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Brittany! Be sure to browse through the main link above to find the other toilet paper included!

    • rob

Charmin & Scott were included Select sizes

  13. Michelle

Woo-hoo! Did a double order to stock up since I’m going to be on a shoe-string budget after the 1st of the year:

    5 Original Gain 120 oz
5 Original Gain Fabric Softener 129 oz
4 Gain Island Fresh Detergent 120 oz
1 8 pk Trusted Care Facial Tissue
1 Scott 1000 Septic Safe Toilet Paper 24 Rolls
1 Cottonelle Clean Care Mega Roll Toilet Paper 18 ct
1 Bounty Select A Size White Paper Towels 8 Giant Rolls

Total: $171 oop, saved $40 AND will get back $60 in Gift Cards!!! (Which I hope to “roll” for as long as possible).

On a side note, Gain is wonderful when you’re washing smelly boy clothing (and we have 4 left at home), so it’s AWESOME to be able to stock up on what I consider “luxury” or “special occasion” aka spring cleaning detergent and fabric softener. Thank you so much for posting!!

  14. Brandy

I’m so* on the fence. My total is $188.42 (& earning $70 in gift cards back); right around 45% off. All household stuff we use/need and I wouldn’t have to chase down deals for a while….I just can’t decide.

    • Rachel

I would do it! I did a deal last year like this on laundry soap. It lasted a year . It was so nice not going to the store .

    • vmm

you’ll save more (or in essence get another $20 in free stuff) if you were to split your order into two $100 purchases …you could add another $12 worth of items and still spend the same(or $8 less after the extra $20/$100 purchase discount comes off). I’d do that if I were you!

  15. Scruffybean718

Don’t know where else to post this but here are two codes for FREE Redbox rentals (DVD or Bluray): Q2EM9VT5 and D9D9ULCY.

    • Victoria W. C.

Used. Thank you Scruffybean718, my kids will appreciate family movie night tonight!

      • Colleen

Aww you’re so welcome – have a great night with those kiddos!

  16. Raina

Any cash back on any sites?

  17. Kel

The total us not right for me.

I did a few laundry soaps and then a couple 22 ounce Yankee Candle which are b1g1.

It’s only raking 46 bucks off…should be $20 plus the 2 free candle amount…gave up…just an fyi…you might want to check that us is correct.

  18. Jessica

on Cartwheel they have $2.00 off coupons too. I wonder if we can use them on top of all this. Anyone know?

  19. braydendsmommy

I entered everything but the $20 did not come off. I am not sure what I am doing wrong

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hmm, are you purchasing items that qualify? Or are you using a mobile device? If not, maybe try a different browser. Hoping that helps!

  20. Victoria W. C.

Since the start of November, the Redcard 5% discount is not being deducted correctly on online orders where the purchases earn you a gift card. Just FYI, in my experience with deal shopping, in case your total doesn’t look correct.

    • kmeyer

The 5% redcard discount takes into account the final total minus the giftcards. So instead of 5% discount on an $100 purchase, you get a 5% discount on a $50 purchase.

  21. Kate

This was amazing, spent $88 (had one $10 gc) and received $45 in gift cards back! Thank you!

    • Jackie

What did you buy? I can only figure out 3 gift cards

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome Kate!

      • Jill

When do you receive the gift cards and when can you use

        • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Jill! You can decide at checkout if you want the gift cards emailed or mailed with your order. I believe you should be able to use them as soon as you get them. 🙂

    • Jackie

Can someone explain how to get 45 back in gift cards?

      • Kate

I had a spend $50 get a $10 gc coupon from the mailer last week, plus the 3 $10 gc deals posted above and I also did the Q-Tip buy 4 get a $5 gc deal. My total was $113 I believe and I saved $67 in redcard discount, $20 off and $45 in gc’s so basically half off stuff I’ve gotta but anyway!
