The ad I’m looking at says 2/$6 or $3.79 each which usually means that the first one rings up $3.79 and the second one rings up $2.21. Depending on your cashier, they would either deduct the $2.21 or the $3.79, but not $3, so your mileage may vary. THIS week, the Hershey’s Later Crunch shows that the red machine should have a $1 off 2, so I would think if you print this mid-week sometime and don’t use it this week, you should be able to use that with the B1G1 free manufacturer coupon as well next week….so depending on how the free one comes off ($2.21 or $3.79) it is either really cheap or a money maker from my calculations.

Agreed. That’s exactly how Wild for CVS (who is credited), has the deal written out. Glad I saved my crt so I can use it for this deal!

Lol! Thanks for the warning! 😉

  5. Jo

A $1.00 off 2 coupon is printing this week from the CVS coupon machine. This will make them free!!

    • Angie (Sweet Sidekick)

AWESOME! Thanks for the heads up – the post has been updated!

  6. Lancy

Hate using bogo coupons in cvs, the 2/$7 price doesn’t ring up as $3.50 each. The system rings up one price lower and that is what the cashiers deduct. Even with the $1/2 crt, i think it will still be cheaper at walmart.

    • Mel

Well, with the EB’s, it’ll come out better than WM + Ibotta. Price at my WM for the cookie layer bars is $3.79. So $3.79/2 after BOGO, get $2 back from Ibotta ($1×2 redemptions) = $1.79.
At CVS, it’s $6 – $2.21 – $1/2 CRT – $2 EB = $0.79. *IF* the cashier takes off $3.79, then it’s a small MM. Cashiers at my store have been told to take off the higher price b/c that makes better sense for coupon reimbursement. If they don’t write a price in that box, then that’s what they will get back anyway and that’s not fair to shortchange the customer so they can profit. But CVS has been doing some pretty shady things lately, that I’m surprised there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit against them!

We bought 8 bags of these with the BOGO coupons last week and have been passing them out to teachers and school staff as Christmas treats. They’re a huge hit! And I love that they didn’t break the bank.

    • Angie (Sweet Sidekick)

What a great idea! I bet you have happy teachers and staff at your school!

  8. ds

    I love cvs thank you

So I got an interesting coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine yesterday. $5 off $10 FSA eligible items. I had to look up what FSA means!
Anyway, my son uses clearisil products. Will that qualify? I thought there might be a deal in there with the new Clearisil coupon?

    • TracyS

I got the same coupon. Acne meds usually qualify. My coupon stated that the FSA items are flagged on the shelves, but nothing was flagged. I hope Hip2Save can come up with some scenarios to help redeem this coupon.

      • Mel

My store did not have anything tagged either, so I didn’t use it yet. The cashier said if you scanned the product, it will show FSA, but nothing I scanned did. Looking at the ad, it says you can go to cvs.com/fsa to see all the selected eligible products you can use the coupon towards. Of course, the things I scanned didn’t count (neosporin, bandaids, though there is 1 type that is listed that should also work for the spend $12, get $4 EB deal)

        • Sam

I saw that includes prenatal vitamins, sunscreens, first aid products, eye care, pain relief , allergy medicine baby and child( diaper, thermometer etc)and incontinence products.

    • muquee

I didn’t know what it was for, so I asked. The cashier told me and then said, nothing is flagged though.

  11. Amy

    mint are delicious!!

  12. Carol Oakley

I was stumped as to what FSA eligible meant. Thought it had something to do with food stamps? Asked the Manager and she told me it’s for customers with a Flexible Savings Account.

  13. Emily

Will there be an ibotta rebate with these

    • Mel

There is an Ibotta offer for them, but it’s only available for purchase made at Walmart.

  14. JA tube

I like it it is a good deal

  15. muquee

Unfortunately, I used mine yesterday before this deal was posted.

    • Mel

I have noticed that most of the weekly crt offers that print for everyone, there’s another deal (sometimes better) on those items the following wk. So what I do is hold off using until I’ve seen the sneak peak ad (I like Iheartcvs). Like the Hershey crt that printed last wk, I used this wk on the Kisses getting them 2/$1 after q’s & ECB (which was better than last wk’s offer of being on sale w/crt).

  16. Joyce

Has anyone used the $5 off $10 FSA CVS coupon successfully? And how? Can you pay with regular credit card?

    • Roxy

I have but it beeps. They pushed it through without discussion the first time but the second time they gave me a hard time and I had to show them the website that showed included items. It seems noone knows what’s up with this coupon.

  17. Lisa

I see how the BOGO coupon comes off depends on the cashier. There is also this same coupon as a load to card. Any idea how this one will come off?

    • Mel R.

My experience last wk when they were BOGO 50% off, I got 4 bags. The cashier took off $3.99 for the IP and the digital applied $1.29 (which isn’t even the 1/2 off price) After talking to the manager, he refunded me $0.75 to make up the difference. Not sure it’ll apply at all if you use the BOGO IP on just 2 bags.

  18. Emily

The coupon is not showing up.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks for letting us know!

  19. Gin

I just printed a “Buy one, get one free cookie layer pouch” coupon off of coupons.com. It was still there for me to print today.

  20. Ashley

Just be careful with your printed coupons. I had a rude cashier who was monitoring what I was buying throughout the store anyway, as soon as I approached the counter she almost screamed “oh do you have a B1G1 coupon, if so you can’t use it on the 2/$6. It’s either or.” Lol. Sadly for her I am an experienced coupons and I had no printed coupons for her to refuse, only clip to card and a few ECB. Do you know she REALLY tried to void my digital coupons and ECB. I kid you not. I guess CVS changing their policy for managers not being able to override coupons somehow overrides their ability to void the digital ones as well. Ha! Too shady. Just a heads up for my fellow couponers.
