Glad I was able to give my business to Amazon- who didn’t jack up the price! (Btw this isn’t knocking the people who had to buy through TRU- ya gotta do what ya gotta do! And it beats the markup on EBay!) makes me think twice about giving them my business throughout the rest of the year though. Seems shady.

I’ve gotten these from both Amazon and ebay, and personally I don’t think the mark up was that bad. I had to suffer during the Frozen craze, paying $100 for a $10 doll, so this is a bargain to me!

Toys r us with always price match, just bring them a picture of the Walmart price for $14 and they refund the money.
They will only price match if you can prove it’s in stock online (or have them in an ad but I haven’t seen fingerlings with prices in an ad). That’s why they gauge the hot toys because they know you can’t price match since they’re only available online for a few minutes then unavailable.

I read Toys r Us price policy, it does not look like it honors items purchased online, only in store. Can anyone advise that is correct?
Someone found that their walgreens are selling them, and they are on sell for half off, $7.99. They are the real ones. Worth checking out.
When they first came out months ago that was the original price. I paid $8 back then, once they started selling out the price doubled.
I never saw $8 the price when they first came out. I bought mine back in June or July off the shelf at Wal-Mart and they were $14.99 then, too.

TRU is doing this with all the hot toys. They increased the price of the Big LOL surprise 10 dollars. They wouldn’t price match unless you could add to the cart. They even take advantage of parents whom are trying to make wishes come true.
