I have 2 of them for my 2 year old so I could have one at my house and one at my moms. He is 40 lb. and I love them and so does he. For this price. I would buy one. I think I paid 13.00 which was a good price but 10.00 is a great price.

I’m thinking about this for my 16 month grandson, do they actually hold them out of the water or are they tipsy or top-heavy you know what I mean??

They are for 30-50 pounds, so be sure your grandson weighs at least 30 pounds.
Yes, they have to be thirty pounds! I have a small daughter and she is three but only 28 pounds. We finally let her use them at thanksgiving and she loved them, before that we used an infant life jacket that flips them on their back. It is also what lots of water park resorts require kids that age to wear and not puddle jumpers. But if you get them now and he is too small don’t worry he will fit them soon enough.

The upper weight limit is 50 lbs, so I would pick something else. Also please note that these are for the pool….not for boating. They are best for getting the little ones in a swimming position and building their confidence.
This is a great price! These are great! I recommend to everyone! Keeps them perfectly afloat! I’ve tried other floaties and life jackets, and was about to give up because none of them would keep my daughter perfectly afloat, i still had to stand with her the entire time with one hand holding her up which defeated the whole purpose for me, but then I found the Puddle Jumper! It has been perfect! My daughter can go around the pool by herself (of course ALWAYS SUPERVISED) but we can play games and I don’t have to stand right next to her the entire time holding her.

The product description says “lion” and there is another turtle option. I’m wondering if I order this if it will be a lion and not the turtle?
My son still used in the deep end last year at age 7! He is way over the weight limit but it still works for him and he’s had it since age 2. The best floatation device! Can’t say enough great things about this product!
These are wonderful! We used these for both my kids. It holds their faces away from the water and both of my kids have learned to swim well on their own after using these.

Just FYI the ARE Coast Gaurd approved. We used them on our pontoon boat with our youngest son. They are much more comfortable than a regular life jacket.

I paid $25 for my daughter’s one last summer. She was only 25lbs then, but it worked fine other than the arms were a little loose. This is one of the few life jackets that our local pool will allow as it is Coast Guard approved. It worked great for my daughter. She could paddle around by herself and not go under a bit. She loved it and so do I! You won’t regret this. I’ve never seen them this low $.
