That’s a wonderful gift! Lucky teacher! My aunt did something similar like that for a gift exchange one year but she did an Italian theme…pasta, sauce, tomato paste, some various bread type items, oil and vinegar, and some other things that went with the theme. It was pretty fun to open.
On our thanksgiving trip to the east coast I went to trader Joe’s just for local beers and bags. Love that place!

Yes! Every mystery bags have 3 very different designs from different states! it’s so fun to open and see what states i got!
I love TJs. But those pears look sick… lol;-) Definitely not appealing for a gift!
Comice pears are considered a near delicacy – super seasonal and ultra juicy. Leave ‘em, more for the rest of us! Produce isn’t supposed to look perfect – not the best tasting stuff, at least. Ask any farmer.
Comice pears are delicious! They do come in different grades depending on how pretty they are. These must be a lower grade, but I bet they still taste the same!

I bought several Trader Joe’s bags when they were having their 50th anniversary this past August. It was a limited-edition 50th anniversary bag and only cost 50 cents. I think I bought about 8 of them! They are so sturdy too. For your fun trivia knowledge, TG opened its first store in Pasadena CA in 1967! Always enjoy shopping there.

Any one ever shop at Jungle Jims? That place is crazy. They sell foods from all over the world, fresh food, cheeses, beer, vegetables. I’m not sure if it is just a Cincinnati Ohio thing but if you ever see one take a trip inside. It is super fun.
I bought one of the glitter trees and ran into fairy garden sized lawn flamingos at the next store I stopped at. You have no idea how happy the mini glitter tree and mini flamingos make me every time I look at it 🙂
