    Colin IMPORTANT!!

The picture you have up is Little Debbie’s!
The problem is with Mrs. Freshly’s.
    Two totally different products!

Could you please put the correct picture up?
You can call McKees Foods in Colliersville, TN which is the parent company of Little Debbie’s to confirm.

    Thank you,
    Laraine

So glad to hear that Little Debbie was not involved-LD swiss rolls have been the pregnancy craving of choice for the last several weeks-I was really concerned!

  2. Jennife

Am I correct that the photo is completely misleading and Little Debbie were NOT involved in the recall?

  3. D

This is a little misleading. It’s my understanding LD is not a part of the recall. Correct?

  4. ABC

I’m not trying to be funny, but you call can tell the difference between a Little Debbie swiss roll and a Mrs. Freshley’s swiss roll from just this picture?? This looks like a generic swiss roll picture to me…

    • ABC

      you all*

    • Rhoda

The photo in the email summary was a box of Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. Not sure if it’s 2 different graphics on the post or if H2S was super quick to change it.

    • Chris

The email they sent out had a picture of a box of little Debbie swiss rolls instead of the generic picture in the article.

      • ABC

Oh, haha! The comments make more sense now.

        • Cara

LOL, glad it wasn’t just me. I was thinking wow, if there’s ever a snack guessing game show on the Food Network, I’m taking all of you with me 😉

  5. Martina

I think it would be a good idea to keep recalls at the top of the page for at least a week so that as many as possible can see it. Maybe in a special color or just box that is wider. Maybe a “blinking warning sign”.

    • Lana

You can sign up to get recall emails from the FDA and you will be alerted to far more than you will see anywhere else.

My husband works at the Collegedale McKee Foods (Little Debbie) headquarters and the Little Debbie Swiss Rolls are NOT being recalled. Please change the picture…these are not involved in the recall…it is a completely different bakery!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

The Swiss Rolls pictured are from the Freshley’s FB page. I hope this helps.

      • Abigayle

I was referring to the Little Debbie box on the email summary. I notice it has since been changed…thank you…I will let my husband know.

        • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh God…every time that there’s been a recall on lettuce, spinach, etc. I’ve said that things like chocolate and potato chips never get recalled. I’m eating my words now.
