I get them too and I can’t visit the site without them popping up. I’ve found that if you turn off javascript on your phone, the popups go away. So I do that while I’m on this site and then just turn it back on afterwards.
I recommend ad blocker, it’s good for security reasons as well.

I prefer a VPN on my phone rather than an ad blocker. It works great for stopping the ads in the phone browser and in most apps.
What is a VPN?
It’s in the wireless and networks section of your phone, I don’t know what it is or what does though.
