Follow Me Wednesday (and Thursday) as I Make a Few More Phone Calls to Walgreens!

Yesterday, I posted Part 1 of my 3 part video series that highlights phone calls that I made to Walgreens stores across the country. I ended the video yesterday in the middle of a very informative conversation 
with a Walgreen’s employee in Missouri. Today’s video will highlight the remainder of this phone call and will also showcase a call to the Lone Star state (my birthplace

*Please note that I contacted Walgreens managers in the following 4 states: Idaho, North Carolina, Missouri and Texas; and I called the Walgreens Corporate Customer Service Center in Alabama. Because these states only require one party consent to record a telephone conversation, I was able to record these phone calls legally!

How many of you are familiar with the following scenario?
You plan out your shopping trip to your local Walgreens store (i.e. you clip/print all your coupons, read through the extensive deal list on Hip2Save , and write down all the transactions that you are planning to make). You arrive at your Walgreens, find the items, and go to checkout… feeling very excited about all the deals you are about to score. You are then told by the cashier and/or manager one or more of the following:
*No, you cannot use a manufacturer coupon AND a Walgreens Instant Value coupon on the same item.
*No, you cannot use a Buy 1 Get 1 Free item with a Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale to get 2 items essentially free.
*No, you cannot use a coupon that is of higher value than the item you are purchasing.
You then drive to another Walgreens down the road, buy the same items, and are able to complete the SAME transactions that you were not able to do at the previous Walgreens. How frustrating is that?! I cannot stand the fact that we all receive different/conflicting information from Walgreens employees…this absolutely drives me crazy!
This craziness is what led to the video below. I was determined to find out what sort of response I would receive when the same 5 questions were asked to 4 different Walgreens store managers across the country AND the Walgreens Corporate office. So watch the video to see what I discovered…

Alright, so as most of you know, I was in Lafayette, Indiana over the weekend and had a blast! My “Follow You Monday” giveaway winner was an awesome reader of mine named Michelle! She was a fantastic sport throughout the filming process which took quite a while! Plus, she put up with me and my crazy family… and that says a lot! Thanks so much, Michelle!

Side note: I know, I know… it’s been 2 weeks now since I’ve done a “Follow Me Monday” video. Well, my excuse— I’m getting prepared to head out to Lafayette, Indiana this Thursday, 4/29! “Follow Me Monday”: Lots of Questions & a Few VERY Long Answers…

Well, today’s “Follow Me Monday” video is just me sitting on my couch, answering questions, being lazy, and drinking coffee! Yes, it’s pretty boring.
As you may know, I had you all email in questions that you were hoping I could answer. I honestly was not prepared for all the questions that started streaming in and by Saturday I had received a total of 25 pages worth of questions! Yikes! I was hoping to at least answer 20 to 30 questions… BUT, as you’ll see in the video, I answer a total of four questions. I know, I know… I don’t know why it took me so long to answer each question, but it did! You Tube only allows you to upload videos that are 10 minutes or less in length, so that’s why (with all my rambling) four questions was all I could fit in.
On a positive note, I will be answering a lot more of your questions in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
