ParentSpeak: Take Surveys and Earn Money

From the Folks at KidzEyes, there’s a great new opportunity for parents over at ParentSpeak.com!
Instead of your kids taking part in various market research projects, ParentSpeak actually wants to hear from parents directly. And unlike KidzEyes, they are looking for moms and dads of 0-5 year olds too! As a member of ParentSpeak, you’ll be invited to take surveys via email, which you’ll be paid for in your ParentSpeak account. Once you earn $10, you’ll be able to request a check that is mailed directly to you. It’s that easy!
In addition to surveys, you may also qualify to participate in projects like a multi-day discussion board about a specific topic. Keep in mind that the smaller surveys often lead to these other fun and unique projects, so it’s important to take the surveys – you never know what will be next!
ParentSpeak also offers a monthly “Featured Members” bonus, where 15 ParentSpeak contributors are randomly selected and get a $5 bonus credited to their account – just for taking part in discussions.
ParentSpeak is a members-only community, so you need to complete a brief registration process first. Once you register, you’ll be able to immediately join the open discussions on the site. Soon after that, you should be invited to surveys that reward you for honestly sharing your opinions.

My Grocery Outlet & Fred Meyer Deals…

So I stopped in the Grocery Outlet today to check out the deals thanks to the following email I received from reader, Patti:
I don’t know if anyone in the Boise area blogs about the Grocery Outlet (Fairview Ave., east of Curtis). They don’t accept mfr. coupons, but occasionally have store coupons ~ like right now! Go to http://www.groceryoutlet.com/ to print their Memorial Day coupons.
I don’t know if you have ever shopped there, but they often have organic and gluten-free items at good prices. Yesterday I picked up the pesto Philadelphia Cooking cream for 50 cents ea., limes at 10/$1, Betty Crocker gluten-free yellow cake mix (still $2.49 I think, but about half what you pay at a regular grocers and they rarely have coupons or sales). Stock changes quickly, so shopping regularly is good. You also have to watch expiration dates. They also have a wine and vitamin dpts. I think it’s a great place to shop.
So after reading Patti’s email I knew I had to head on over to the Grocery Outlet near my house to see what kind of deals I could score! As you can see from the picture above, I was able to snag the following items….
10 limes for $1
2 Avocados (nice & ripe!) $0.69 each = $1.38
2 containers of Philadelphia Cooking Creme $0.50 each = $1
2 Silk Pure Almond Milks 8 oz $0.50 each = $1
Total (with tax) = Only $4.64! Sweet!
Here are a couple additional deals I spotted:
I was pretty impressed with the prices and will definitely be shopping at the Grocery Outlet more often!
I also stopped in Fred Meyer as I wanted to make use of the high value $2/1 Snapware Containers coupons found in the 4/29 SS. Julia over at The Frugal Find reported that these are FREE after coupon, so I was super excited to potentially be able to score FREE containers! And here’s what I got:
6 Snapware Containers – which came to a total of $12.04
Used 6 $2/1 coupons found in the 4/29 SS
Final cost only $0.04 for all!
4 boxes of Popsicles on sale for $1 each (Awesome sale price)
Used 2 $1/2 coupons found here - no longer available! 
Final cost only $0.50 per box – $2 total!
Kroger Value Hot Dog Buns $0.59 – No coupons needed!
Zevia 6-pack $4.99
Used the regional $3/1 coupon from the 5/20 SS
Final cost only $1.99!
Total for all (without tax included) only $4.62! WooHoo!
On a side note, I am trying to post more of my shopping trips, as I know how nice it can be to see visuals of the types of deals you can score… so I hope these posts are helpful!
