These are on clearance for a reason and I think I know why. Last week I was in there and the toilet paper shelves were empty and usually they are pretty well stocked. They are raising the price and since these packages have the price printed on them, they have to clearance them. I wondered when that was going to happen, now I know.

That sounds counterproductive. 😅 But you’re probably right.
It will probably come back with fewer sheets per roll and a higher price. Shrinkflation is happening to tons of products these days.
I ordered one pick up in store. Tiny rolls. The whole package was about the equivalent of 2-3 regular rolls.
