My Albertsons Deals: A Total of $3.96 Spent

I headed to Albertsons today to make use of my doubler coupons from the Sunday paper before they expired and I made out pretty well! Check out what my 2 transactions looked like…
Transaction #1:
1 gallon of milk $2.49
Used $0.75/1 any brand milk product coupon from Coupons.com
(coupon only available for Idaho & Utah residents)
Used doubler coupon (deducted another $0.75)
Final cost $0.99!
2 bags of Alexia Sweet Potato Fries $2.99 each
Use 2 $1/1 coupons found here
Use 2 doubler coupons (deducted another $2)
Final cost only $1.98 for 2 bags!
Total for all (with tax included) just $3.32! Plus, I got back a $1 Catalina to use on my next transaction for purchasing 2 bags of Alexia fries! Sweet!
Transaction #2:
2 2-liter bottles of Sun Drop on sale 2/$3
Used 2 $1/1 regional coupons found in the 5/6 SS
Used 2 doubler coupons (deducted another $2)
Final cost FREE + $1 in overage (I was surprised to see that I got the overage!)
1 package of Johnsonville Chicken Sausage on sale for $3.50
Used the $1/1 coupon found in the 4/29 SS
Used 1 doubler coupon (deducted another $1)
Final cost only $1.50!
2 Milky Way Candy Bars (for the hubs! 
) $0.79 each
Used the $0.75/2 coupon found here
Final cost only $0.83 for 2!
Plus, I used the $1/1 Catalina coupon from the previous transaction… so the total for all (with tax included) just $0.64 – which means that for everything pictured I spent a total of only $3.96! Man, I love coupons! 
The Johnsonville chicken sausage alone normally retails for $5.29… Wow!
We are having a BBQ this weekend, so I was super excited to be able to score 2 Sun Drop sodas for basically better than FREE and really inexpensive Alexia sweet potato fries! Also, I found this simple and delicious Sun Drop Cake recipe to make use of the Sun Drop soda I purchased. And nope, it’s not Paleo friendly… but will make for a yummy dessert for the BBQ!

So, I recently got an email about a *HOT* unadvertised sale going on at Albertsons AND since I live near an Albertsons now (Woo Hoo!), I went to check it out. Look what I found showcased near the front of the store…
Arm & Hammer laundry detergent 50 oz. on an unadvertised sale for $1.99 (w/ rewards card)
This detergent is regularly priced at $7.99, so this is a HUGE amount of savings to score with NO coupons! And, of course, you can sweeten this deal even further by using either the $1/2 coupon found in the January issue of All You mag. (making the detergent only $1.49 each) or the $1/3 Arm & Hammer detergent coupon found here (to score detergent for only $1.66 each)! Also, my store was well stocked!

Wow! If you have an Albertsons nearby, you may be able to score one heck of a deal on ice cream! Reportedly when you purchase 2 Dreyer’s ice creams 1.5 quart, on sale 2/$6, you will get back a $4 Catalina coupon which can be used on a future purchase!
Please note that I do not have an Albertsons in my area, so I cannot check this deal to see if it works. But if the Catalina IS in fact printing with the purchase of 2, you can score the following deal…

Use the $1/2 regional Dreyer’s coupon found in the 6/12 SS
Pay $5
Get back a $4 Catalina coupon
Final cost only $1 total – just $0.50 per carton!
** Even without the $1/2 coupon, you’d pay just $2 total ($1 per carton)! Plus, even sweeter, it appears this deal is rolling, so you could go back and score another 2 cartons and use the $4 Catalina from your first transaction, pay $2 (or less if you have another $1/2 coupon to use), then get back ANOTHER $4 Catalina!
IMPORTANT NOTE: The ad states the Catalina will print with the purchase of $12 or more (which would be when you buy 4 cartons). However, it supposedly is printing with the purchase of 2. As always, your mileage may vary. I have heard that some stores have newer computer systems that base the required purchase price off the shelf price (not sale price), so that is why it may be printing on 2. Some stores, however, have older systems which base the price off the sale… and so it may not be printing on 2 in these stores.

If you’re an Albertsons shopper, then you’ll definitely want to sign up for the Albertsons Email Savings Program. You’ll snag a $5/$25 coupon upon registering; and even better, refer 5 friends to sign up through your unique referral link and you’ll snag an additional $5/$25 coupon for each friend up to a maximum of 5 referrals per user. Keep in mind that in order to use this coupon, your purchase will need to total $25 or more after all coupon redemptions and customer card discounts are deducted.

Albertsons has quite a few promotions going on right now!
I mentioned yesterday that some Albertsons are doubling coupons, well on top of that great promotion there is also some others…
- Spend $30 on General Mills Products and get a $15 Catalina coupon to use on your next purchase (offer good through January 13th). Check out this post over at I Am Frugal for lots of great coupon match ups!
- Buy any Post Shredded Wheat cereal between 1/2-1/25 and get a Catalina off your next purchase. Buy 2 boxes get $1, buy 3 get $2.50 and buy 4 get $4. Combine with the $1/2 coupons doubled and you can get a total of $8 off four boxes. I’m not sure how much Post cereals are at Albertsons but I would think this would make for a great deal!
- If your Albertsons doubles you can also get in on this deal. Atkins bars are priced at $1 each. Purchase ten and use five $1/2 coupons from the 1/4 insert to get them free ( if doubled). If you buy 10 of them you will get $3 off instantly. Your final total should be FREE plus a $3 moneymaker!
