More Kmart Deals…
I scored lots and lots of great buys today, pretty much all the same ones I mentioned in these posts here and here. I snagged a total of 14 boxes of cereal for ONLY $2 plus I will get back a $10 Kmart gift card for the General Mills Cereals purchased, so in a way I really made money buying these!
One quick tip-If you live near a Kmart thats doubling and have not gone yet… all I have to say is go NOW! Kmart never restocks during doubles, so when the free items are gone, they are gone for good!
You are SOOOOO amazing! I hope your children are learning and will become as thrifty as you are. It’s sad when many children don’t pick up their parents’ knowledge. I hope your husband realizes how valuable you are. Thank you for sharing your treasures with us.
So how much was your total spending? I know you only spend $2 on the cereal, but what was the total of everything?

My total with tax was $31.96 plus I will get the $10 Kmart gift card!
I was hoping not to spend that much, but I did buy 2 packages of Huggies diapers and a few other things that were a little higher in price.
I just got back from my Kmart buying cereal. Thanks for the tip. My store said they weren’t doing double coupons, that was last week? Should I have pushed harder or do they run them at different times. Also, what are peelies?
Kmarts promotions seem to vary quite a bit in different places. I have heard, though, that some Kmarts doubled coupons last week, some Kmarts tripled coupons up to .75 this week and of course my stores doubling up to $2 this week also… so I guess with Kmart the ONLY way to find out about your local store is to either call or just go in!
A peelie is a coupon stuck to an item. It almost looks like a sticker. I usually will take it off the product before checking out, so that the cashier doesn’t forget to peel it off and scan it.
Oh ya and one more rumor I’ve heard is that Kmart may be doubling coupons up to $3 starting on Jan. 18th! This could be false, though.

No double coupons here this week. When they have doubles at my store there isnt much in stock even on the first day and the prices are too high to get many good deals:( Congrats on yours, you did great!
