I had one of my best shopping trips at Walgreens yesterday. I was able to score so many freebies! I also had quite a bit of coupon overage that helped go toward other item that weren’t free. I used one $10 Register Reward from the Dove Deal and ONLY paid $6.93 for everything pictured. I actually paid less then the $9.91 tax! I also received a $10 Register Reward from the Johnson’s deal and a $3 Register Reward from the Kashi deal. Final expense FREE, plus a $6 moneymaker! 🙂

    Thanks !

You are SO out of control at Wags. Thanks so much for showing us how it CAN be done 🙂 Does your checker allow you to do it all in one transaction? If so, that is GREAT!

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, that was all done in one transaction!:) I have the most amazing coupon friendly cosmetics cashier! She’s great.

I would LOVE to give you lessons! I live in North carolina.

you did great! just curious, what coupons did you use for the kashi and the fiber one bars? I have a $1.35 internet coupon for the fiber one bars but only if I can find chocolate mocha which I can’t! And we love kashi so any help there would be appreciated!

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Hi Crystal,

You can do them both in the same transaction and you will get both RRs back. That’s what I did with the Kashi & J&J products and I was still able to get both RR’s after my transaction.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ok thank you lol ive been doing them all seperate like you would do at cvs. no wonder why the cashier thought i was crazy.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I used two .60 Fiber One coupons from coupons.com and three $1 PDF Kashi Granola Cereal coupons (I have these coupons posted in the Walgreens weekly deals).

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I love in NC too! Greensboro to be exact and had good luck at 1 location, but not the other 2 I’ve tried.

Most of the deals I scored are listed under Walgreens in the store specific coupon category on the right hand side of my site.

The ONLY deals I haven’t listed that I scored were the 2 Curel lotions on clearance for $3.59 each. I used the $2 Walgreens EasySaver coupon, Plus Two $2 manuf. coupons that the cosmetics cashier gave me.

AAAmazing! I thought I did good this morning making 1.73 on my first time trying this stuff out at wgs. guess that good for a first time, and you give me a high standard to strive for!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Great job! Gotta love overage!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Great job!!!

I’m so excited that I just snagged the dove deal at Walgreens- honestly I was a bit nervous! The only bummer was that I forgot my gift card (with $6) at home! So I spent a bit more oop than I planned…but even still with RR, I “made” $3!

AWESOME JOB!!! Not big on Walgreens but your savings makes me want to start, my store is always out of things but I can always try another location. Thank you for sharing for this newbie. Stephanie

    Amazing!! You inspire us all.

I am a cashier at WG and the Fiber One coupons work on all the Fiber One bars. If the cashier is dubious, just ask him/her to give it a try anyway.

If your WG is ever out of a sale product, just ask a manager for a raincheck. They’re good for thirty days.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did you have coupons for the Angel Soft? I can never find coupons for the 4 pack regular size rolls.

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I actually snagged $1 coupons directly from the manufacturer!:)

I just wrote a letter letting them know how much I loved their toilet paper and in return they sent me $1coupons (with no exclusions on what type of products I had to buy)!:)

i went ot three walgreens and they were all out of Dove soap and trial size deodirabt. And I am so stupid I did not ask for raincheck. Now I feel so bad learning that this deal runs for the hwole month. Anyone has an extra one that they can share?

What about the blink tears? Do you know if that is a monthly deal too? I really do need that.

    Thanks for your post

Awesome savings!! I have gotten so frustrated with Walgreens because when I try to use a $1 off coupon for something that’s $.99 cents, they won’t let me. I’ve even gotten a filler item to take the overage, and they still wouldn’t. She said it was coupon fraud and made me feel like a thief. I get so confused too because a different Walgreens accepted the exact same coupon for the same product the week prior. Are they not supposed to accept the overage or what is the deal?
could you email me at shaynamarie22@hotmail.com if you don’t mind. I tend to forget to check for responses when I leave comments. 🙂 Thanks.
