   It’s the same for me. I called and spoke with a lady who said the site is getting slammed right now with freebie requests. I guess will just have to wait for it to slow down a bit. She also said that the flip flops are now on backorder with an expected ship date of 5/15.

   Yes, the lady I spoke with said you do have to make a purchase to get the flip flops. I’ve updated the post with this info. Sorry for the confusion.
