Target: FREE Hershey's Bliss Chocolate Bars!
Well, I just received an email from Mom to Monkeys about another great Target deal. By the registers are Hershey’s Bliss bars regularly priced at .99. You can use the $1 Hershey’s Bliss Target coupon (no size restriction) to get these for FREE! Yay!
Do any of us need more free chocolate?

I was at Target today and was combining Target coupons with manufacturers coupons and the cashier told me we no longer except 2 coupons for 1 item. I requested to see a manager. The manager that came over said we never excepted Target coupons with manuf. coupons, I asked when that started and I told her she was wrong in a very polite way. I requested that she either show me the coupon policy or call corporate. She called her manager over and her manager said yes we except both target and manuf. coupons. The big manager rung me up, took my coupons off and gave me at additonal 25% off my total and after I paid, she gave me a $25.00 target gift card for the long wait and trouble I was given. I told her she did not have to do that and she insisted, she said I see you in here every week. I gladly smiled said thank you and went on my merry way.

Collin, Have you ever used the computer at Target to print their store coupons? I’m pretty new to Target couponing. Anyway, all those coupons on the site you linked us to are not the same coupons that are actually in the store…they don’t have a lot of those in the store. I’m going to have to print some of these. Remember the Nabisco Artisan crackers? I couldn’t figure which coupon you were telling us to use, now that I see the list in the link, I realize Target didn’t have that coupon…besides I didn’t see those crackers either. Has anyone found these? They didn’t have the Easy Mac coupon either. I had my poor husband going back and forth to check if they had a certain coupon.
Also, I read you like Lindt chocolate. I love white chocolate. Have you tried their Excellence White Coconut 3.5 oz. bar? Oh My God!!! All I have to say is Heavenly. I do believe this is the best brand of chocolate, by far.

I don’t think I have ever noticed these before! Are they just small bags on the hang-tags by the registers?
I went to Target today and bought 16 bags of the Quaker snack and 10 bliss bars! I did have to pay $0.96 because the last coupon would have made the total less than zero. I didn’t bother to ask the cashier if she could adjust the coupon down since she went thru the effort of scanning 26 items and 26 coupons. I’m happy with paying $0.96 cents for 26 items! 🙂
…just made a mad dash to my Target to get my Bliss chocolate bars and they ABSOLUTELY refused to take the target Bliss coupon. I pointed out that there was no requirement for size and they said the picture on the coupon was a bag. Called for the manager and she refused as well and treated me like a thief!!

I’m so sorry to hear that. I would call corporate and explain to them what happened. You should also point out again that the coupon does not have a size requirement and that they should have honored the coupon.
So is the Bliss coupon beeping or not?
My Target refused to take the coupons too. The cashier said it was for the size in the picture. I didn’t argue since I was using a Target gc that I got free from one of the online offers, BUT I do plan on contacting Target corporate. BTW, the Bliss bars are totally yummy!
What size is it in the picture? I can’t even tell. Does it beep when they ring it up???
My Target wouldn’t accept the Bliss coupon, either! They went with the picture…I kept it anyway (needed it for the stress). Snagged the Quatro razor at .99 and the True Delights, so I’m good.
I LOVE my Target! I usually go at night when there are high school kids working so they never give me a problem with my coupons. Saved $40 plus got $5 gift card last night. I’ll be back there tomorrow night to try to get some free chocolate bars.

the coupon has the bag pictured on it. My coupon didn’t beep, it actually wouldn’t scan, BUT this happened before with the fruit snacks, when I spoke to the manager the next day she put them right through, so I think it depends on the cashier. I just emailed Target about it, see what they say
I was at Target today and on the Ponds Cleansing cloths that qualify for the 5 dollar gift card there were 1.50 off peelie manufacturer coupons and So I paid 6.58 and got a 5 dollar gift card! Just wanted to pass that along in case your target has the Ponds with the peelies on them! Katie
they took the bliss coupon onlt if i bought other items. the bar was .99 and the coupon was for a dollar. The computer would not let it go through alnoe and refund a penny. However when paired with two easymac and 2 coupons the computer not only allowed the bliss but they handed me 12 cents to take all three items. I did this five times…I did not want to seem greedy. hehehehehe

If you have any questions about a specific coupon or experience using a coupon at Target, we want to help! Please give our Guest Relations team a call at (800) 440-0680. In the meantime, I’d like to share with you some information about our coupon policy. When accepting coupons, we use the following guidelines:
– We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued and manufacturer-issued.
– We’ll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.
– We can’t give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in this case, we’re able to adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.
– We can’t accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
– All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you’re checking out.

So they CAN take coupons for an item that is 1cent less than the coupon! Ha!
If Publix has the Bliss bars I’ll use my Target coupons there, they aren’t nearly as picky!
I was also NOT able to use the Bliss coupons at my Target (North Irving). The clerk was very nice, and adjusted several other items that beeped but he would not do the Bliss bars. I still got $60 for $25 (and earned two more $5 gift cards) so I was happy with the trip!! 🙂

my target would not take coupon for rhe bliss bar either- she scanned it and it didnt work….
I didn’t try the Bliss coupons based on what I read here, but I did try the Chex and both the Manufacture and printable Target on the Quaker True Delight Bars. I only bought 5 of each to try it out. The checker processed two of the five bags of the chex mix that is .99 (in the checkout aisle) and then she said she couldn’t do this because the coupon was worth more than the product. I asked her just to change the coupon to .99 then and she asked another clerk who told her they couldn’t do that. Then she processed the manufacture coupons for the True Delight bars and wouldn’t take the $1 off Quaker Snack coupon saying that I couldn’t use both. I explained to her that they always have, and she called the manager, who came over and looked at the coupon. She noticed in the picture of the coupon it had a photo of “Simple Harvest” bars and told me the coupon was only good for that product. I told her the coupon says Quaker Snacks and doesn’t specify a product. She told me I didn’t buy Simple Harvest and she couldn’t take the coupon. She wasn’t too happy.
I just used 2 Bliss coupons for the bar size. I asked the cashier if I could buy some more as a different transaction. She said that she shouldn’t have taken the 2 coupons that she did because it should have been for an item that cost more than the coupon. Unfortunately I wasn’t armed with their coupon policy, but I will be next time! Thank you Hip to save!!
Can someone speak to the issue of whether taking the corporate policy with me to T will help me get my point across?? I have run into 2 cashiers who have given me trouble about the Mac and cheese q’s and I would love to do the deal again before the 9th. I want to do the Bliss bar deal also and the Chex Mix and the Pringles deals but I am not wanting anymore run ins. I guess I have to be brave.
I had success with the Bliss Bar (Tulsa, OK, 71st St) and picked up some other items with other coupons (like the $1 off apples that are already $0.99/lb – 2 apples = just under a pound), though the cashier seemed a little annoyed about having to do something when the apples and Bliss coupons didn’t scan outright, likely because they were for more than what was being rung up. She turned a little snotty and didn’t say anything when I said thank you and left, but after a bite of that chocolate heaven, I didn’t really care. 😉 I’m pretty new to using coupons like this, but I have to say that I love it. Thank you for pointing out these kinds of deals that make it easy to get good deals.
I went to Target last night and got PLENTY of candy bars, chex mix and quaker snacks!!!! I am using all the goodies to put in favor bags for my son’s birthday party.

I used both the Chex Mix coupon and the Bliss coupon on the smaller size items but they both beeped at the register. The cashier took them anyway but she wouldn’t take the Mac and Cheese coupon because I had given her the BOGO coupon first so she said I didn’t have two items (sigh). Are they going through for anybody without beeping?
