  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

and hey what happened with the Yves Rocher deal? Is something wrong? I did the deal and got the bag, glasses and a cleansing kit for like 1.45…should I be worried?

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

we had our first wedding of the season this past weekend and the amazon fondue sets arrived just in time. The couple told me they loved it. thanks,

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The deals are slimming down, but I have still been able to pick up a few things here, and there, and over the long haul, it adds up.

It’s enough to keep me on my couponing “high”! πŸ™‚

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This is how I’ve been feeling about the Old Navy coupon site this week!! πŸ™‚

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I guess it’s a “case of the Mondays”! But you always keep us on our toes and I am so excited about Tulle day tomorrow!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s so depressing about our 45 cent bag and gift! πŸ™ I’m surprised that they’re able to cancel all the orders that way. BUMMER.

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

anyone in Cali area that shops at Vons grocery the Keebler cookies are on sale for a $1 and there is a 55 cent coupon at coupons.com. 45 cookies! There’s one deal πŸ™‚

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

at Walgreens web site you can click on the “give 5 get five enter here ” and sign up for the chance to win a bag of Revelon products and print off 5 different $1.00 coupons for Revelon products

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This is not the best week ever that is for sure. I need some great grocery deals.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Hey Ladies,
If you’re bored, here’s a free Red Box code for today only: BT73H9. I recommend “Nights in Rodanthe”, if you need a good cry. You do need a debit or credit card to access free DVD…that is only in case you don’t bring it back by 9:00 PM tomorrow night…you will then be charged $1.00 plus tax for each night you keep the movie. Enjoy!

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    It is slow today.

Anyone near a Brookshires?? You can use coupons from this week’s paper and get Kraft BBQ sauce for $0.03 each, Peter Pan peanut butter for $0.50 each.

That’s about it. Maybe we will all get a suprise later on this week and find some great coupons.

Can you believe that some of the wags. around here actually marked the Sally Hershberger haircare that was already clearanced at $3.19 and so on back up to $8.99 for Sunday and the rest of this week b/c of the RRs deal!!! Went in the store Saturday & they were clearanced. Sunday they were back up to $8.99. I am sure those stores will have them clearanced again come Sunday.

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t know if this is all CVS stores, but I went to mine today and saw that select Herbal Essence shampoos and conditioners were 75% clearance for $1.10 and I had a $2 off 2 coupon. And the lady rang them up at $1.07 for me b/c she entered it in manually, so I paid 7 cents for each one! Nice deal!

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    thanks for the code fran!
my kids will love to pick out a movie
    ida

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

@Misti: After reading that thread over on the other site about the Kohls Q, I don’t think that’s a legit deal, even if it works. The OP over there said it is a scan of a newspaper Q, and several of them were talking about “cleaning it up” and such to make it look better. It sounds like a great deal, but I think I’m gonna pass.

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

About the Yves Rocher deal – I’m guessing someone loaded the free shipping code wrong on their website, and it was never supposed to be for orders less than $15, as that’s what it became today. However, I’m not sure how they can get away with canceling all those orders when it was their own fault. I didn’t order it, but if I had, I’d be complaining to them about it.

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What?? I’m having fun at Target this week! Target alone is keeping me pretty busy. Did you know that the Fiber One yogurt and Fiber One Toaster Pastries are included in the $5 G/C deal?

    Today I got:

    4 Fiber One yogurt 4-packs for $7.88
Minus four $.50/1 coupons from various inserts
    =$5.88
    and got a $5 g/c back
(I also had B1G1 Free coupons from the backs of recent Fiber One cereal boxes and $1/1 coupons I got from Cub Foods)

4 Fiber One Toaster Pastries for $7.16
Minus four $.50/1 coupons from recent inserts
    =$5.16
    and got a $5 g/c back

2 Kraft 7oz Fat Free Natural Cheese for $3.04 (1.52 each)
    Minus $1 Target printable coupon
    =$2.04 or $1.02 each.

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks to your tip about Kmart doubles being a misprint, I’m still going strong. $140 in two transactions yesterday for less than $6 and another trip carefully planned out for tomorrow. Plus, used last weeks RR to pick up some much-needed items. 4 boxes of Magic sponges, 2 4-packs of tape, dawn dishsoap, wipes and bayer aspirin for $2.59 with a $2 RR remaining.
Kmart has ACT mouthwash on sale for $3.99. Free after $2 coupon. Also found small tubes of curel clearanced for .99. Free after $1 coupon. More in travel size that would only be .19. Skintimate travel size is 1.59, so .09 after coupon. Found more freebies: juice, revlon tools (smaller tweezers or files), dishwashing gloves, etc.
Some of us are hanging in this week okay, but especially thanks to you πŸ™‚

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ITA about Kmart! It’s not in my local ad, but I called anyhow, and they’re doing it this week. Unfortunately, I’m without a vehicle today. That’s ok, though, cause it gives me time to get organized!

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just thought of something, since we’re talking about everything here. I did ask Hip2Save before and she didn’t know the answer. I am trying to learn the computer, and I think I’m pretty good at it, although I don’t know a lot. Here’s my problem. You know when you are on one site, and you click to go to another site? Well, at first, I used to get a full screen, now I get a small “thing” that I have to maximize. Someone at Comcast told me to stretch the site at the corners…that made it even smaller.
Would anyone know how to get the full screen back?

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was so frustrated. Target was out of Smartfood and Quatro razors (Which was posted as a “Even Lower” at 6.99, even though that is their regular price).

Walgreens was out of Listerine and Mr. Clean.

CVS register screwed up my 10 off 20 purchase. It didn’t credit me for the Vitamin Water. They made it right, but what a hassle.

I just came home. Will try again later this week.

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Jen-thanks for the heads up..Im new to this and usually dont even look at slickdeals but for some reason was over there today and saw that…I am gonna check my local ad and see if the coupon is in our paper.

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

@Misti: No prob. I used a “bad” coupon at Kohls a few weeks ago. Not on purpose, but it makes me really look at those now before I use them. Especially when they are outright saying it’s a copy. The manager at my store was really nice, and still let me use the Q, but I felt a bit guilty. The Q I had was an actual legit Q, but was one of those “one time use” things with a unique code – and it had already been used. Someone had posted their Q online somewhere, even though they shouldn’t have.

I’d look and see if my paper had that Kohls Q, but they don’t actually carry the ad. I started buying the city newspaper, and they don’t put very many ads in it at all – but they put 10x more Qs in it!

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

hi i did fid a good deal today my walgreens had the mennon speed stick men and ladies on sale 2/2.00 i had 30 o.75 off so at 0.25 each thats a great deal got 15 men and 15 ladies gonna donate to the food pantry

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The kids are home from school today, so we took advantage of free redbox monday and got 2 movies or the kids and one for mom and dad – just use a different cc for each one.

We got the Killian’s stuff in the mail last week. My kids like drinking their juice and soda out of the “shot” glasses. Hope they don’t talk about that around the playground! lol

  39. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Lowry517-
My Walgreens did that last week with the KidEssential Boost Drinks!
They were on clearance for 3.39 on Saturday, then 4.99 on Sunday!

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

kohl’s sent me an email for a $10 off coupon. it’s a one time use deal as well. did anyone else get one?

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

“My kids like drinking their juice and soda out of the “shot” glasses. Hope they don’t talk about that around the playground! lol”

    LMAO!!!!

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yeah!! And I just got an email from YvesRocher saying there was an error on their website and my order got cancelled!! LAME-O! They are backpeddaling now. Sucks.
    Jill

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I agree. But, every now & then I need a nice break from deal-chasing. (a 1 day break to rejuvenate) lol πŸ™‚

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

FYI – The Yves Rocher code works if you start with $15 in your cart. There is a link of items that are on sale for $5 or less so you can still score some cute gifts and get the sunglasses free! You would get an additional 10% off your items, free sunglasses and free shipping with the code. Not too bad for a total of $13.50…Thanks again Hip2Save for even making us aware of this code in the first place!

  45. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a couple of great deals today. I purchased lunch chinet plates from safeway today and used the coupons from the ads on Sunday and I got them for free plus tax. The 36 Ct. lunch plates are on sale for $3. If you buy 10 @ $3 and use 10 $2 off from the smart source you pay $10 and get a $10 catalina. I also got Mr. Clean there. The 2 ct. are on sale for $3. You can buy 10 and use 5 B1G1 free from the P&G on Sunday. Pay $15 and get a $10 Catalina back so they would be .50 each. I also got some of the 4 ct. They are 4.49 each. If you do something similar to reach your $30 (6 will get you to 26.94 and then you’d have to purchase something else to get to $30). They ended up being roughly .75 for 4 (which would be like .37 for 2). Hope I explained that right. If not, you at least get the picture. Thought that was a great deal. I was very excited!

  46. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Lisa B: Thanks for the great movie idea. My kids don’t get to watch TV during the week, so I’m thinking this summer we could have a regular “movie monday” using the free redbox movies. You were my inspiration today, and I appreciate your comment πŸ™‚

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a nice surprise in my mailbox today. I received a packet of coupons and samples in thanks for a survey I filled out?? I fill out so many, I don’t remember it, but I’m definitely glad I did! Included were coupons for a free Glade Sense n Spray starter kit, a free Afrin Nasal Spray, several other high dollar coupons, and several free samples. Definitely brightened up this rainy, gloomy Monday!

  48. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you are really bored, check for that Sally Hershberger stuff. My Mom goes on her Walgreens/CVS excursions we call them. She found several Wags. still had tons of this stuff marked at $2.39 and $3.19. It does give you a $3 RR back. So, you can either get it for $0.19 or a decent moneymaker. Let me just say that we could have hair washed and styled for so many years to come. We are going to have to share this with friends/family. The bottles would breakdown before we can use it all. LOL!

Happy shopping to you all! : )

  49. Collin (Mrs. Hip)
