Had my first HORRIBLE experience at Target yesterday! Just like you all they wouldn’t take a man. q or a target q… I did have a q’ for basically everything but she wouldn’t even just swipe it to see if they would go through instead I had to pull out each item first and some were over the price of the item so she REFUSED to even try to swipe it… WHAT DOES SHE HAVE TO LOSE??? So anything that was 99cents and the q’ for for $1 she wouldn’t even try to swipe! I tried to explain everything to them… you can use 2 per item and price adjust and all that… the manager lady was so rude too. So now I am feeling bad because I haven’t been a couponer for that long so I just bought the items still and left. Then I went on my phone in my car and looked up the coupon policy again… called corporate and got some lady that said I could do all the above… went back in to guest relations to try to return and rebuy with coupons and crazy lady came back and this time was a b*tch. If she were nice I wouldn’t have minded but she was the rudest person I have ever met! Then I nicely said I just spoke to corporate guest relations and they said I could do it… and then nicely asked if they could call them themselves and they REFUSED TOO. So I went back out to my car called again and got some guy that I couldn’t understand and didn’t know where BOSTON, MASS was… I had to spell it FIVE times and he still said Boston? with a question!! He was no help and was supposed to transfer me to a specialist but I lost him so I called back and got some really nice lady. She was so helpful… again WE ARE ALL CORRECT IN THE POLICY… she even CALLED THE STORE AND SPOKE TO THE RUDE LADY!!! She read her the policy but the lady told her all these lies and unfortunately the lady on the phone couldn’t do anymore to help me out… the rude one said she tried multiple ways yadda yadda yadda SHE DIDN’T EVEN SWIPE IT! So I went back in yet again and just returned all the stuff. I was so mad. It was like $20 worth of coupons. And even with the stuff I kept… since it was still a good buy I would have saved an additional $7 if she took the Target ones. THEY WOULDN’T EVEN TAKE THEIR OWN COUPONS! Dummies. Oh, and to make it worse… THEY GAVE ME A GIFT CARD for my return and would not credit my debit card! Forcing me to go back to that hell hole!

It’s just so sad because I was all excited to go…

On a better note… I had a wonderful experience at Walgreens… got my entire order for 27cents! After coupons and RRs

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t think I got an $2 off coupon for A1 Sauce. Do certain coupons go to certain states? was it in this last sunday paper. Thanks for all you do! You Rock

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I kicked booty at Target this morning and will be posting my savings later. It’s a bummer that I live in beautiful Naples, FL…where our prices are a little bit higher – but there were still some excellent dealt to be had. THANK A MILLION!

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got back from Target and the cashier gave me a hard time because the Target coupons that I printed off would not scan from. My other coupons I had printed from internet scanned through fine so it is not my printer. I think it is because the target coupons print smaller. Is there a way to make them print larger?? If anyone knows any trick to it I would appreciate it. Other than that my Target accepted both a mfg cpn and target cpn for same item. Thanks for any and all help.

    Peggy

At my Target in the travel section they have a St. Ives whipped silk body moisturizer for $.97. Use the $1.50 Q from the 5/10 paper = MM!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I haven’t been able to find Joint Juice anywhere…not at Walmart, Super Target, or HEB (in Texas). Is this a new product? Has anyone else found it? I’ve even asked the pharmacists and all of them either haven’t heard of it or don’t carry it. Just checking…
BTW – Our BBQ sauce here was $.94 so it’s a 6 cent moneymaker per bottle! BBQ Chicken anyone?!

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have to say after telling you about my experience yesterday I went to another target about 30 miles away. I had NO problems with my coupons. She didn’t check every item in my bag to see if they matched first. She just swiped them! I had a pleasant expeience and it is worth the drive to Temple, TX to avoid the Harker Heights coupon nazis!

They had plenty of clothes on clearance like coats for our move to Germany! I must say I will be making the trip or going to Walmart. No more HH Target for me!

I posted about my deals here:
    https://giantofpadeals.blogspot.com/2009/05/target-may-12-2009.html

The prices were a bit higher in my area. I didn’t purchase the dressing and a few other items, because they are cheaper at my local grocery store even without the Target coupons. The Kraft dressing was $2.29 at my Target!

Thank you for supplying all of the great deals here!

    Hello Hip 2 Save:
Where is the free crystal light?

Did it reach a limit? I do not see it on coupons.com 🙁

    Thanks,
    Amy

Tonight I was able to buy 6-2L of Sierra Mist(3 regular and 3 ruby), 1 Quaker True Delights Granola bars, and a small can of pringles for $4.68(60 cents of it being deposit). Too bad I forgot to use my $5 gift card. My husband went through another aisle and the cashier won’t take the MQ and target Q. He didn’t know what to do… oh well.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Hi Amy,
I think you’re right. I’m not seeing the Crytal Light coupon either, so it must have reached its print limit!:(

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Target wouldn’t take the SmartSource internet coupons because they didnt have the bar code at the top like the ones from coupons.com! The manager was out and everything, but she said they don’t take it unless it has that code. Oh well.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Hey-
the $1 printable Kraft 100 cal pack coupon has a picture of the cakesters on it-so they’re free free free!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone what the Target coupon for 100 calorie Pepperidge Farm snacks are for? It has a picture of Right Bites, but I didn’t know Pepperidge Farm made those

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went to Target tonight and there is good and bad news….Good news is that they have their Kellogs cereal on sale for $2 and you all should have a lot of those $1 off coupons that makes each box only a buck! Bad news is a lot of the items listed monday are no longer on sale…ugh….back to the drawing board…., but yippee for cereal!

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had one of the links from target printouts come how much smaller then norm also. I tried another target link and they were back to normal size.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m not sure if you had this posted anywhere but smartsource.com has buy 1 get 1 free on the Easy Mac.
