lol! Cathy … I am “Pad Ready” for her! Been picking up the Kotex and Carefree with my coupons when I saw them around a $1!

    Hey all … have a question …

I read on the Kotex site things girls wrote about being afraid to tell their moms they got their periods.

My ? is … I want to make her feel “special” when the time comes.

Got any great ideas that will help????

My daughter was 11 when she got her period for the first time. We talked about it about a year before hand. My husband and I took her out to dinner as a celebration as her coming into woman hood. May sound corney but, to me it is a special time in life. It helps alot when you can talk openly with your kids about anything. Now my daughter teases me as I am going thru the change. LOL.

NOT corny at all! Think that was great thing to do!

This little gal has had a rough life and I try to be a positive female figure in her life but they live 45 miles away so a bit tough. I plan to tell her “Gma” has been getting some things together for her for when she becomes a “young lady”.

I do wonder … I also saw on the Kotex site where girls were asking about tampons! Oh my! Do they use them so young?

I’m not sure how to contact you but here is some information regarding Old Navy.

I went to Old Navy today to use my $75 off $100 and because of a computer glitch its taking off $100. I have had three used with in my family and they have all worked. I only had to pay $.54 I was worried about it being dishonest, but the manager said it was fine. There have been a few other stories like this, but not too many people know about it. I went here https://www.swaggrabber.com/blog1.php because of the chat room and more people are having the same success. So just an FYI.

(This is my personal experience, I’m jsut trying to get the word out.)
