Remember the EnviroKidz Organic Bars deal I posted yesterday?

My order for the bars has now been Canceled!:(

Well, I received this email from the Vitamin Shoppe:

Our vendor(s) recently notified us that there will be an additional
delay in sending us the product(s) that you currently have on
backorder.

We have noted below the current status of your order and projected ship
date information. Thank you for your continued understanding and
patience. We do apologize for this unusually long waiting period.

The good news is that is DOES state I will get 6 boxes of 6-count bars! The part I find strange is that I put in my order right when I posted the deal, so I’m not really understanding how they would be out of stock so fast. What do you all think? And did you get this email too?

    unfortunately if you call the vitshoppe they will tell you its only one box of 6 bars not 6 boxes for that price. I called and can canceled my order:( Beth

    I got the same email today! I talked to corporate vitamin shoppe and they said at the very least they will credit the purchase and still send one box…but my guess (and hope!) is that they are working with Amazon to figure out how to fill all these orders with 6 boxes…I am ok with waiting!! I think this might be like the Korres deal where they step up and honor their mistake …

    I got the same email too. I actually did 2 orders after I found that the peanut butter ones were the same price. I got the same email on both orders.

    I got the same email and I am thinking that since we are getting 6 boxes per order instead of one, then they did not have the correct amount in stock. Just my guess, anyways.

    I got the same e-mail twice (not really sure why I got two) I’m interested in seeing how this all works out!

    I called Amazon yesterday and asked about the situation and the gentleman said that he was sure that there would be 6 boxes delivered. I asked him what I should do if there weren’t and he had me hold for a while. When he came back to the phone he said that they would put a credit of $20 on my account so that I could use it to order more if it was really only one box that comes. I just checked and there is a $20 credit on my acct! I wonder how I “return” the credit if my 6 boxes come?

    Same email here. Worried about what this all means. I figured there was a misquote and like others have stated they are trying to fill the orders. Very frustrating!

    I got the same email, and called to verify. He said I was getting one box, with 6 bars in it. I cancelled the order.

    I got the backorder emails too. At this point since my amazon email does state “six pack” (i.e. six boxes) I am assuming that they’ll honor it. If not, I’ll pursue it then. ๐Ÿ™‚

    the six pack is the box with 6 bars in it. The pack is equal to the box.

    I also got the same email!
    The only thing that i want to let everyone know is that I once ordered some organic washcloths that were on back order for like 4 month and then they just canceled my order because they couldnt fill it!! Its worth the wait to see!

    i placed two orders for these yesterday; one with two boxes of berry, the other with 2 boxes of peanut butter. i have been receiving the back ordered updates for each order. i got a cancellation order for the berry bars, but not yet for the pb bars. i’m hoping only the berry got canceled, but I doubt it. we’ll see.

    I’m curious: is it legitimate for them to cancel an order with no explanation or reason? I’m considering calling to complain about it. Yeah, it was a stellar deal but it was a deal that THEY advertised and so it seems they should honor it. This is the second time I’ve had this happen with Amazon and an outside seller, and it is frustrating. What do you think – worth calling about?

    Same thing happened to me. I got the same email, then a day later, I got an email that they canceled the entire order. Boo!
