I got the last pink one at my Target – perfect for my daughter’s 4th birthday this week! It was marked down to $24.98 and I used the $10 manufacturer coupon and a $5 Target coupon I got in a back- to-school mailer. Total – $9.98! 🙂

One of my readers found it for $12.95… I ran to my Target that day and it was still $24.99. I am HOPING they go down at my store SOON. They had 3 left.
I found a bunch of them in my local Target, but I would wait till next week when I can use my 10 % off on all my purchases on one day too (got it due to my Target cc point is over 1000)

I have heard reports that some Walmarts also have this on clearance for $15. I’m guessing it’s a very YMMV deal though since WM clearance prices seem to vary so much. The Walmart I checked in yesterday only had a large bundle pack which included the clear carrying case & reader on clearance for $35. The ones on clearance at most retailers are likely the first version with the smaller memory which can hold up to 5 downloaded books. The new version that recently came out holds 10 books. Kmart did have a few book titles for around $10 on clearance recently so if you use the $4 off coupon for Tag books you can get them for around $6.

Im in south florida and i saw them on sale for 34.99 last week, im hoping when i go tonight they are down to 24.99, and some are left. Lets hope they take the coupon, cause this target always argur my inernet print out coupons. Is there somewhere in their coupon policy that states that Target accepts IP coupons?

Where did you find them in MN? I looked at 3 targets and couldn’t find any on sale.
They were on clearance in Portland, OR but for $35. Was able to use the $10 & $5 coupon brought it down to $20, but would have loved a sweetier deal.
I got two at the target in Staten Island, NY at the $25 sale price with coupons for $10. I’m a teacher and would also like to find a way to find low-cost books for these readers so I can set up a classroom center using these for choice time. Any suggestions?

No luck here in Columbia, SC. They’re still $49.99! I checked KMart too – they didn’t have any systems on the shelf, but they had the Tag books on clearance for $7.00!
Got one today in Chicago (near Blue Island). It seems I got the last clearance one. The others, which had “Cat in the Hat” with it, were regular price. Mine had Ozzie and Mack in it.

got the last one at my Target in Kennewick Wa! was able to get it for 10 bucks with coupons!! i checked walmart and they still ahve the old version too but havent marked them down.. if anyone finds one marked dwon at walmart let me know- we really wanted a pink one! 🙂

I was at Target yesterday (Chicago) and stumbled upon the last ONE, and nearly started giggling! THANK YOU for the heads up! A TAG system for $15 is AWESOME! So appreciate all you do! Marked for $34.98 @ my Target, scanned at @24.98. Plan was to use the $10 man qand $5Target q. S Realized that I forgot my $10 q @ home. Of course seriously bombed about it. So walked over to get some Gillette Shampoo and found a $5 Leapfrog Taget q hiding behind the shampoo. How crazy is that. Now I have 2 $5, I just printed 2 $10 heading to Target to get 2 Tags for $20.
Also, the Kid Essentials is clearance to $4.48 at my Target. With the $5 man q and $2 Target q, $3 overage to use towards the Tags.

My Target in Myrtle Beach would not accept the $10 Q because it beeped. The mgr. read the small print and it said “Participating retailers”. She said she couldn’t force it through because they wouldn’t get paid for it. They were still $34.95 plus no coupon so I put it back 🙁
At my Target they were marked $35. I checked the price and it scanned the same.
I have no idea how I got signed up for the Target mailer. I just periodically get booklets of Target coupons in the mail – I got one with coupons for Target’s new Up&Up line just the other day. I would suggest signing up for their email updates – that’s the only way I can think of that they may have gotten my address. HTH!
The $10 coupons also scan right thru on the books and accessories!! (This also works at wal-mart!)
In NLV, NV and found it in the swimming clearance aisle for $19.98even though it was marked 29.99.
I used the $10.00 off coupon and the $5.00 off Target mailer coupon and got a great deal!
